Stonebridge replaced my roof 3 years ago. At the time, local roofers were still back logged from Matthew and Irma, and Stonebridge had decent online reviews, workers comp, liability, and a reasonable quote, so I hired them. The replacement included two sun tunnels, which they assured me they knew how to install.
But they did not. In fact, they never told me they would have to send someone else (not the roofing crew) to install the interior portion of the tunnels. Not a problem, but should have been mentioned from the beginning.
The roofing crew installed the caps on the roof but did not install the flex portion of the tunnel properly on the roof end (see below). The roofers did work consistently, but when the roof was ""finished"", and before paying the balance of what I owed, I went up in the attic to look around and discovered a hole where I could see the sky. The roof in that area is too steep to climb on w/o a harness, so I had to check from inside. The roof drops to a lower level at that point which made the hole difficult to see from outside.
They did return to fix the hole, but the Velux sun tunnels had not yet been completed. Eventually they sent a sub-contractor to finish the installation on the interior. Although I had told them that the ceiling was 15' high, apparently that info was never relayed to the sub-contractor bec he showed up w/ a ladder too short to reach the tunnels. The guy literally tried standing on the very top of the ladder to reach the tunnel, which was both dangerous and ineffective.
Mind you, interior work like this is a pain in the butt for the homeowner. It requires moving the furniture out of the way and covering everything in the room w/ sheets and drop cloths to keep fiberglass and blown insulation + dirt + insects etc off of the living room furnishings.
The next day, half of one of the sun tunnel diffusers was covered where the interior flex portion was blocking the sun. I wouldn't send the final payment in until it was corrected, so I re-covered the living room and they came out again, this time with someone who they said worked for Velux. They did bring a higher ladder this time, and after I gave them some duct tape, the Velux guy seemed to have corrected the problem. At least the light was coming through.
In the meantime, I had discovered that the roofing crew had broken a brick curtain wall that surrounded the outside AC unit. It was a decorative wall, and after the crew had collapsed it, they stacked the bricks back so it wasn't immediately obvious that the wall had collapsed. Until I put my hand on top of it and reached over to pull some leaves off the top of the AC unit and the entire thing (except for the bottom couple of rows of bricks) collapsed. Thankfully I wasn't injured.
So Stonebridge said they would send someone out to fix it. It needed to be rebuilt, period. But a couple weeks later I discovered that the wall had some fresh mortar in places and evidently someone had just ""re-pointed"" it. The repair was poorly done and the wall remains unstable. I wasn't home when they sent someone out and I called and questioned Stonebridge about it; they said the mason was ""in my area"" so he just ""stopped by"". At a time when I was not able to be there to check the work.
I finally sent in the final payment. The next week, a foot long piece of duct tape fell off the inside of the flex part of the sun tunnel, landing on the diffuser. A year later, another foot long portion of tape fell. The pieces of tape are not only unsightly and obvious, but they block the light.
What reminded me to write this review now? Two days ago the inside flex portion of one of the sun tunnels collapsed because it was never properly attached at the top, so the diffuser is now completely covered over and no light can get through.
Stonebridge really pushes for good recommendations. At the time, they were paying $50 for each new job they got as a result of a referral from a homeowner. In Florida, if you are an honest contractor doing good work, people will be banging on your door to hire you; it doesn't take a lot of advertising for word to spread that Company A does quality work. It seems to be even more rare in this state than in other regions of the U.S.

Excellent service with newly replaced roof. Manager ""Dylan"" was clearly hands on working hard. Mostly he was present on site, if not then a phone call away. He provided outstanding knowledge and leadership skills.

I called them for an estimate - they went out next day, didn't hear back the following day so I called Michael (the estimator that was sent out) the day after the following he told me that he was working on proposal a few days later I received a proposal no repair option- only replace option for an absurd amount of over 20k to replace a shingle roof on a home with under 900 sq ft of living area. I respects people work but this estimate was an insult. Btw: hired a GC company w five start review and having it done for 7200.00

The roofs at Sea winds townhouses at st aug beach are being replace by Stonebridge. In my unit they took off many layers of roofing materials, cleaned, replaced, trimmed and did wood replacement in 2 days. On both days Luis the project manager was here by 7 am and did not leave til dark approximately 8 pm. The work and clean up was outstanding. The men working were polite and unobtrusive. Luis also assisted in clean up and supervision.
I wish I could say the same about other residential roofs I have had replaced. Thank you!
Highly recommend them.

Stonebridge was contracted by my condo association to replace the roof on my building. They removed the old shingles, installed the plywood and underlayment then moved to the next building doing the same thing. Then they left the property mid week. On the following Tuesday morning, April 4, 2017, we had a storm. The roof leaked flooding my condo. After negotiating with Stonebridge to get a commitment on the repairs, I agreed to let them repair my condo. When they used the old insulation instead of installing new insulation, I stopped the repairs. When I filed an insurance claim, I learned the insulation and drywall were the responsibility of the HOA. So, the HOA decided to allow Stonebridge do the repairs. The pictures are of the finished work.

Awesome company. They went out of their way to help and I could not have been more pleased with their work. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!! Thanks Shane for all of your help!!!

Can't say enough about my experience!!!! From start to finish the office staff, project manager, timeliness , cleanliness and finished product was far beyond my expectations!!! First class service!!!! Anyone looking to replace their roof in the Duval or surrounding counties will truly be missing out putting your trust in any other roofing company. I'm looking forward to receiving a bid on my up and coming designer home build. THANK YOU STONEBRIDGE!!!

My go-to roofer for all roof related work! I own a small real estate brokerage/property management company, and we refer all roof work to Rick Newman at Stonebridge. He has managed several roof jobs for us and all were executed perfectly; the customer is always happy, and the roof always looks great. My strongest recommendation for a roofing company is Stonebride Construction Services.

Installed a roof for us on very short notice and had it complete it one day. Pulled all necessary permits. They had to wait for the inspectors for a few hrs after the they took the roof off and still finished in a day. Quality work as well

Excellent company, excellent staff! Thank you, Stonebridge Construction Services!
