Nice fellow. Came out to house quickly & provided bid promptly. Question the cost. Almost $10,000 over other bids received from both Sonoma & Santa Rosa roofers. He offered to cut by a few thousand. He may well do quality work. One roofing supply company I called sang his praises. But when the bid was so far above everyone else's, I had to go elsewhere. We only have so much to spend for a new roof.

Jeremy was unprofessional and showed up at my home an hour before the appointment and without permission jumped on my roof to tell me when I called him that my roof was fine. He didn't even know that I was looking for an estimate to replace the roof to shingle and claimed I told him I wanted it evaluated. Well he just lost my business and I am not impressed.

Jeremy and his crew were super professional on our home project, which was a large steep A-Frame roof with new insulation and shingles, and several flat roofs. The work was very solid and on time, taking care of small extra projects that cropped up, and also addressed an unrelated chimney repair months later. Like other Sonoma vendors, they're very busy but also very good, so I would highly recommend them.

We bought a 1960's vintage home in Sonoma in 2003 that had a gravel roof in need of replacement. Without going into details, the roofer we hired was a disaster. When he was done we had no less than 8 leaks in the new asphalt shingle roof which is sloped at 2/12, the minimum required by code for shingles. The ""roofer"" turned out to be unlicensed and had given us a license number owned by someone else so it was our bad for not checking more carefully. We hired another reputable roofer to fix the leaks and he did a good job for the most part but he was hard to get a hold of and there was one leak by a skylight that he could not seem to get resolved. After several attempts with him, we discovered Sterling Roofing and gave them a try. They are fantastic! The owner Jeremy is great to deal with. He returns our calls as soon as he can and he did his best to get his crew to attack our relatively small problem by fitting it in to his larger work schedule. Top kudos to his main man Dennis who really knows his stuff and who looks for ways to limit costs instead of simply recommending sweeping repairs that might not be necessary. I can't praise this company enough based on our experience. For the first time in 12 years our roof is completely leak-free as proven by the recent heavy rains. We are very grateful to Jeremy, Dennis, and their team. My only regret is that we didn't find Sterling sooner.

I am so glad I pay attention to Yelp reviews because Yelp did not steer me wrong. Although Jeremy was very, very busy and booked until next year, he had the courtesy to return my call and see what I needed. Because it was a roof repair and not a huge job but something that needed to be addressed before the rains arrived, Jeremy said he would squeeze me. His crew was terrific, efficient, polite and on time! I highly recommend Sterling Roofing (plus it's always nice to ""shop"" local.

Jeremy and his crew at Sterling Roofing do an excellent job. They just installed a new roof for my home in Glen Ellen and I was impressed by the professionalism, courtesy and quality of the work (and I pay attention to the details). Each day the crew arrived on time, worked quickly and took care to avoid damage to plants, deck etc. The job site was left clean at the end of each day and the new roof looks great. They also repaired some water damaged wood caused by the design of the old roof and put in place measures to prevent future damage. Several neighbors have also used Sterling over the last 5 years or so and have nothing but positive comments - which is one reason I used Sterling.

I don't worry about my roof anymore, even when we have the gale force winds we did this year. I know they will take care of us.

I bought a house last year and the inspection report said I needed broken roof tiles replaced and various other items including dry rot. Jeremy spent a lot of time finding tiles to match, and his crew, headed by Anthony, was very professional. Jeremy said that the dry rot was not a problem and would go no further since I'd had the roof fixed, although he could have charged me for it and I wouldn't have known the difference. Anthony made sure all downspouts worked and painted the pipes (vents?) on the roof to match. I know nothing about roofs and would not have thought to ask for that. They did a great job cleaning up, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

This was not my first roof replacement. I had two others done on two other homes by other roofing companies. I used to do roofing work, and still keep up with the latest products and practices. This was the first time I can say I did not have any complaints at all about the job that was done. Sterling Roofing's work is up to the highest standards and competitively priced. Other roofers seem to think the job ends with just removing and changing the roof tiles. Not Sterling, The job was thorough and excellent.

A roofing job done right will save you thousands in future repairs. Jeremy and his highly professional crew get my highest endorsement.

Jeremy and his crew are exemplary. He came when I called, provided a detailed and fair estimate, and scheduled the work at my convenience. When his crew arrived they worked quickly and professionally, and left the job site cleaner than they found it.

Maintaining your house can seem like a money pit but I will actually be happy to pay Sterling's bill. I feel like I got my money's worth.
