I've read the reviews and I'd like to add my 2 cents worth on this company. Stephens roofing put on my new roof in June 2021. My sales person who came with a free estimate was Zane Jackson. He was polite, informative, and professional. Over a year later, I am selling my home and needed clarification on an item during an inspection. I texted Zane, as he gave me his contact info. Surprisingly he still works for the company. Still loves what he does and still knowledgeable about roofing. Don't hesitate to put your roof in his and Stephen's Roofing's care.

From the very beginning Stephens Roofing was responsive and reliable. We had originally gone with a company that we hadn't done our research on, but when we found out they weren't even registered with the city, we quickly looked for who was most recommended and that was STEPHENS roofing. Dwight was the original 'sales' guy that came to the house. There was no pressure. He backed up his words with research and answered all of our questions no matter how silly they may have seemed. He knew we were being very cautious after what had happened with the first company. Dwight answered/retuned every phone call within 5 mins. When the roofers came, they did a great job. Our roof looks great and no leaks! We were especially happy with their patience as we dealt with our house insurance company. We will be highly recommending them to all of our friends and family.

I have sent many friends to them and they have also had wonderful experiences. Their attention to detail and precise work is on point! 10 out of 10!

Although it's been 5 years, I want the San Antonio area to hear about how BAD Stephens Roofing was! Getting them to come out was like pulling teeth, even though our homeowners insurance had already come through.
That should have been the first Red Flag. Next, when they finally did come out and replace our roof, they did NOT do a good job. Consequently, we're sitting there having breakfast on a rainy day and Rain Starts Falling on our Tabletop!!
We called them and once again had to WAIT, although this was clearly an emergency. Turns out they had done such a POOR JOB that Stephens had to
sent out men to Re-Roof part of our newly installed roof. To add insult to injury,
Stephens Refused to Pay Damage to our kitchen ceiling!! They said to take it up with our insurance. Unfortunately, our Deductible was so high that today, we still have our Kitchen Ceiling Damaged! Moral of the story: DO NOT USE Stephens Roofing in San Antonio, EVEN IF THEY ADVERTISE ON local radio station where Dave Ramsey broadcasts! Find an good roofing company that offer more than 5 years on their Workmanship!!

Stephens Roofing did an excellent job of replacing my roof, but the reason I'm giving them 5 stars is because their representative Dwight Moody worked diligently at guiding me through the claim process so that the insurance company ended up agreeing to cover replacing the whole roof. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. :)

It has been 10 months since the first disastrous gutter installation. I have complained many times and finally they came out to ""fix"" it. The job is not fixed. I regret a million times trusting them with my home. If you need gutters save yourself a nightmare and stay away from this company! I am pretty sure gutters aren't supposed to leak at the joints!! The fascia work and paint job continues to look horriffic, gutters still dented, connection to rain barrel = not even close!!! Again STAY AWAY! They couldn't care less!

BUYER BEWARE. 2 years ago I had Stephens install a metal roof and through the whole nightmare if constant. Mistakes, damage to my home and them ignoring every call and email I am still having leaks in my home. The 4 different subcontractors they sent to fix things all left without touching anything. Even their own subs don't want to fix the mistakes that their I staller did. I am so sick and tired of what they have done at the expense of my families finances and mental stress of the constant letters and references to lien against our home even though I paid almost all the bill except 1600.00 and they still have never fix nor clean the mistakes. Even when they I stalled I paid for a stick and peel ice sheild and they used as they said a substitute foam sheet that is losses and taped on. And that is the entire area where I am getting water ino the home. I would not wish them on my worst enemy! If I could post photos and video I would

My friend has been dealing with this company for almost a year and they still haven't completed the job of fixing his roof, fusing the hole they made in his house from falling equipment. It took many calls and inconveniences to get things repaired, gutters done, things painted. Etc. Olivia is inconsistent and inconsiderate.

I wish there were ZERO stars!! This company is so unprofessional. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! They came out and slammed our roof out in almost a day. Left unfinished came back after the weekend. Upon final inspection, come to find many many flaws to include missing moisture barrier, drip rail put on by a child. We paid for our own inspection to find more issues. We've been dealing with them for months. Come to find out they subcontract the job and don't have recourse of their people to cone back and fix their mess. so, now new subs don't wanna fix someone else's work for free! BEEARE! They do shoddy work and avoid you with broken promises after broken promises. They're word is dirt!

Horrible service! I hired them to come out and repair a couple of places on my roof that I knew needed fixed. The guy that came out to survey my roof said they would fix both spots as well as provide some preventive maintenance. They came out Tuesday, March 15 and were at my residence for MAYBE 1 hour tops. They only fixed one spot and didn't even touch the other place I had told them I needed fixed. I was also told BEFORE the service that after the work was completed they would have an INSPECTOR come by to collect payment. Saturday, March 19, LESS THAN A WEEK after they supposedly provided preventive maintenance work, I had multiple shingles fly off my roof. I called them Monday and they said someone would by Tuesday morning to check it out; nobody came by. Thursday morning I receive an email and phone call asking for payment. I told them I'd be more than happy to pay them once they finished my roof. I spoke with Olivia and Jessica. Jessica told me she'd talk to the crew and get back with me as well as send someone out Friday morning. Nobody came out Friday morning and Jessica still hasn't gotten back to me. Turns out my neighbor used to do roofing, he went up on my roof and apparently Stephen's Roofing didn't bother to actually survey my roof completely. My neighbor informed me I have fiberglass showing, wind damage, and a soft spot in my roof. NONE of which were addressed by Stephen's Roofing. I decided to educate myself more on roofing and this company is trying to charge me $750 for MAYBE 1 hour worth of work and about $50 worth of materials. I asked Olivia for an itemized receipt that included the price I was being charged for materials and labor and was told they don't do that. I don't even want to do business with this company anymore. They can come out, take the few replacement shingles they put on back and I'll pay them for the ONE hour of labor they did and then I'll hire someone else to replace my entire roof (since that needs done but Stephen's Roofing didn't bother to tell me).
