Terrible company. The crew did a lot of damage when they installed the roof. I was promised it would be fixed. Three months later I contacted an attorney. That got their attention, but I now have to find another company to fix their work as I was only given a credit on my bill. I will never do business with them again, and would not recommend that anyone else does either.
This company installed the roof on my home and it was home inspection report had issues with the quality of work. It eventually leaked - something about a nail - but was fixed and was still under warranty. Called 4th of July weekend for another leak in roughly the same spot. They were understandably closed but they never called me back when they opened later in the week. I called 2 weeks later as leak had now caused substantial damage. I was told the work order had been entered. No further contact. No status update. When running a business and trying to get people to hand over their hard earned cash for services you provide communication is important. It's been a month and still nothing.
Stat Dry replaced my roof in May. Cost thousands. It leaked in June. Soaked the wall below the leak. They came out and had to reseal a ""seam"" that apparently was left open. Or not replaced as you would expect. This was a pretty large patching job. Now I will have to watch and see if it holds. Totally unacceptable workmanship.
Evan C.Takes over a week to come to the house to check for a leak. They send a sales guy who looks at the stain on the ceiling, gets on the roof, takes some pictures and leaves. 2 weeks later I get a quote. Quote was high IMHO but they have a great reputation.
After numerous left messages the sales guy calls back and he will be over. He shows up 2 hours late and then realizes he confused my house with another. Really?!!
Then he says the office will call and set the appointment for the work to be done. Ok.
We get into a conversation about how long the work will take. He says if he can have 2 guys on the job, maybe an hour. An hour for $700. He explained all they are doing is resealing the shingles.
Total rip off, horrible service. Of course the office never called to make the appointment.
So disappointed!
We used Stay Dry Roofing when we first moved into our home 4 years ago for a minor roof leak. Two years ago they fixed another leak and a few months later had to come out to fix the same spot again. We were told that a nail was sticking through the wood, causing a leak (Ok, so when they repaired it, they drove a nail through the wood, causing another leak. Great).
Now we are experiencing a leak in that EXACT SAME SPOT AGAIN and when I called to let them know, they said they would have to talk to a supervisor and would call me back. The message I received was, ""you have a tile roof and we don't do tile roofs anymore so I guess we can't help you. Bye"".
OMG! I have a roof leak in a spot that they repaired twice already and they won't come out to even look at it.
Do yourself a favor and find another roofing company.
The appointment time was worth the wait and then repairs made the same day as the estimate. I thought the cost was a bit high which is why I did not give 5 stars ( but that could just be me). I would still recommend them.
daniel does a awesome job they installed a new roof for me 2 years ago. they came out to check a concern i had a spot on my ceiling ended up being a problem with my a/c in my attic. great customer service very quick to respond 2. highly recommend them if you need roof work done
Contacted about 10 different companies to replace the roof of my parents older house. There prob not as HUGE of a profit fixing small older homes but this company seem to be the most responsive and the customer service seem really good considering i was in contact with them across the country. Some other places were never responsive or would not provided a estimate at all or in a timely fashion. These folks were really to start within a week in the middle of the rainy/hurricane season. Pricing was fair too IMO. Roof survived the near miss hurricane of 2017.
STAY DRY ROOFING OUCH!
I had a new roof installed by Stay Dry Roofing 12 years ago. They broke one of our skylights and it took several months to replace it so they covered the opening with a blue tarp. They also advised that the crew that performed the work had been fired due to other installation issues. Several months later, our roof began to leak and for a charge, they repaired it. A few weeks ago, our roof began leaking again and they furnished an estimate to repair it; however, since we had lost all faith in the Company we hired a highly recommended one for the repair. When requested for compensation to mitigate our damages, they stated that our warranty was only good for five years; guess I didn't read the fine print. Ken
Never showed up to fix roof! I called them and they said oh yeah, sorry. Next week! I have had a leaking roof for over three weeks now! They should be ashamed!
The best part is they sent a bill! Lmao! Never show up and then try to bill someone. They are a joke!
