Wow!!! Where do I start? I must have gotten 10 bids on a roof replacement. Some of those bids were less expensive, but those companies wanted to cut corners and left out a lot of overages that would need to be paid ( such as permit costs and wood replacement. ) stay Dry was the first company that made me feel that they were gonna get it handled. I had two layers of roof on my house and the bottom layer must have been the original one because it was rock and tar. These guys came in and removed everything, replaced lots of wood rot, and had the new roof on in 3 days. That also included pulling permits, dealing with the inspectors, cleaning up after themselves daily, hauling away all debris, putting all new dormers, venting, flashing, and trim. They were friendly, fast, and efficient!! There were no overages, as the included permit costs and lumber were in the bid. A few years back, I had some roof repairs done by another company and they charged me alot of extra charges at the end due to wood rot. I respect a company that anticipates that there will be some rot and puts it into the bid ahead of time. Stay Dry is an exceptional company, whose price was more than fair!! You won't be sorry that you got a new roof from Stay Dry!!

we had a quote from this company , the guy which had a thick Newfoundlander accent, said it was his company and doing a blists in the area quoted us a $12,800.00 for my 700 square ft bungalow ????
I called 4 other companies all of quotes came under $7000.00
what does this company think we're all stupid?

WOW! What a great company with great employees. I'd give 6 stars if possible! Jeff and Javier are fantastic.

My 84 year old grandmother needed her roof repaired (minor repair. Just some concrete tiles came loose and became a falling hazard) so I contacted Stay Dry since they were in her area and looked great on Yelp. Jeff called me back almost immediately and since I explained the job was for my grandmother, he and Javier cut time out of their busy schedules to come help ASAP. What seemed like a small job of replacing 3 or 4 tiles, actually turned into a bigger job. In total there were 3 spots that needed repairs totaling 15 tiles. Javier did all of that extra work for FREE! Yes- FREE!!!!

What an amazing group of professionals. I would recommend them any time for any roofing job, big or small!

Javier and his Team did my Mom's roof in La Mirada and after the initial tear down of a 30 plus year roof,-probably the 2nd day, a freak storm came. His people were there at 3'o'clock in the morning to insure my Mom had no leaks!
It was amazing and so is her new roof and sun roof in her den!
As others saw it, more neighbors wanted Stay Dry to replace their roof and so on...you really can't make a bad decision when it comes to a new roof call Stay Dry.

I took time out of my workday to meet with the owner, Javier.

Over the next couple of days, I called several times to ask them for their quote. Jeff, the office boy, promised to get it. After wasting all that time, they decided not to bid, which is fine. They just should have told me the day of.

Bottom Line: if you want a contract who won't call you back, these are the guys to waste your time with.

I called Stay Dry Roofing to get an estimate for a garage door replacement. They have really great customer service on the phone. The guy on the phone was very efficient and communicated clearly. On appointment day, Jose showed up, checked the attic, and the roof. He showed me samples of roof material and options to pick up. He gave me a written estimate afterwards. The meeting was quick, easy, and stress free. I absolutely recommend giving them a call if you're thinking of replacing or repairing your roof.

The owner, Javier, came out and looked at my roof.
Then . . nothing.
No quote. I waited politely for a few days before calling the company where I spoke with Jeff. Jeff said they must have the wrong email, so I gave him my email again.
5 days later, I called again and Jeff said they must have the wrong email. I explained that we'd already been through this. I expect the email excuse is at the top of his list and usually works; but he barely missed a beat, his next excuse being that they've been so busy and my quote must have been overlooked. He promised it would follow ASAP. That was about 6 weeks ago.
Still waiting, Jeff. Javier.

If a roofing company doesn't wan't to take a job, and that is certainly their right, they should have the courtesy to let the client know upfront so the client can move on. Just cowardly to leave people hanging.
