This company will charge you for them to come out and look on your roof. I called them and it took them 3 weeks to come out. Then they took pictures and this guy Sergio ask me if I want them to take the broken tiles and I thought he was being nice so i said yes he didn't tell me the company will charge me for that. When i got the invoice there was a $480 charge for them to come out and take pictures and for the broken tiles. Called Chip Upshaw and ask him if the $480 is included on the $3800 roof repair and he said no and he said they don't work for free. So I called another roof guys( two brothers roofing co) they came and look and there was no charge to come out and look and they're $1400 cheaper. If you need roof repair call 2 brothers roofing co. Honest and trustworthy and more cheaper than State roofing co.

I purchased a Firestone TPO-type roof from Home Depot back in 2014 (see my review of THAT fiasco, elsewhere on Yelp). The month after installation, it leaked like a sieve and I could never get Home Depot to honor the warranty and FIX it. So, having gathered that Home Depot is too incompetent to fix the roof they installed badly, I eventually settled with them just so that I could move on to my next fiasco, State Roofing Systems. They are a vendor/installer referred by Firestone, and after several months of trying to get someone to come out, I finally got an estimate, signed a contract, and had the recommended work done by State Roofing in October 2018. Come the big 2018/2019 rains and the roof leaked worse than ever! I had buckets catching water in 3 locations inside my house. State Roofing sent some guys out to supposedly solve the problem - they didn't. The leaks continued and now my ceilings are ruined in 3 rooms and the foyer of my home. I was supposed to have a 6-month warranty, but they wouldn't return my calls to try to get someone to come fix the problems. As I told them, I don't pay for a roofing solution, I pay for a roof that doesn't leak (just as you don't pay a garage to NOT FIX your car). Fortunately, I had paid the $2,351 to State Roofing on my credit card and a friend suggested that I dispute the charge, which I did. I just got notice that I get to keep my $ - I guess State Roofing didn't bother to contest the matter. I can't recommend these folks - not only did they fail to properly assess and fix the problem, they then didn't honor the warranty and just ignored my protests. I did find a great roofer who finally fixed the problems (no further leaks as of now!) and charged me much less.

This was one of the worse experiences I ever had with dealing with a service vendor. We had State Roofing System come out to our property to give us an assessment for a roof repair for our company. Once they give you a mediocre estimate proposal that needs a lot of work, they don't even bother to communicate with you. We have contacted them numerous and numerous times about the project, they never call you back and not even a response after weeks waiting. So we decided to go with someone else. State Roofing Systems needs to improve their customer service and how they communicate with their customers. It only takes a few seconds to get back to people. Trust me, it goes a long way.

Hey, they came on time and did a good job. Mousa, the gentleman I talked with and who did the work, was thorough, polite and friendly. He was also professional, and explained to me what the problem was with the seals on our exhaust pipes which were causing rain leakage into our attics. I live in a multi unit dwelling. He took photos of how he fixed the problem and showed them to me. He also gave me a time estimate for how long this work should be good for. So, I am very satisfied and happy! Not a big yelp writer but when a company responds to your requests, shows up on time and does a good job, that's a rarity in this day and age!

I had noticed a rain leak in my house, our HOA arranged the repair through State Roofing Systems which sent two guys to my house; Mousa and Kevin. It took them about 10 min to diagnose the problem. They were very courteous and Mousa explained to me the problem in a very clear manner. After the repair, they showed me the pictures of the roof conditions before and after the repair. I am very satisfied with the work they have done. It is obvious to me that these guys are very professional, know what they are doing, very pleasant to talk to, and did a good job. I would highly recommend these guys to people who need the roof work.

State Roofing was fantastic! Richard Penarelli was our contact guy and he was very easy to work with and I know he gave us a fantastic deal! Their price was way below everybody else! It wasn't only the price but the work they did was 100% perfect! They put in our skylights too and they did a great job! I will recommend them to everyone getting a new roof!

Dave came out on a very windy day at short notice. He told e exactly what I needed to do, explained everything, told me this was a job for a carpenter not a roofer and all at no charge. He was very polite and efficient, throughout.

State roofing was contracted for my Townhome complex to clean the gutters in January. When I had my roof inspection for the sale of my home in early April, just 3 months later, the inspection came back that the gutters needed to be cleaned of collected debris. When I spoke to the roof inspector trying to tell him my gutters were just cleaned, he said they weren't cleaned properly.

Unfortunately since no one checks the work of these types of companies they can claim the work was done sufficiently when it wasn't. Now I'm having to fight with my HOA to either get State Roofing to re-do their work or pay another company to do the work.

Unless you plan on getting a ladder and checking their work, I wouldn't use them.

These guys are great. They were recommended by a friend of mine who said they were trustworthy (not always a trait of roofers) and reasonably priced. I tried using them on a remodel job where the speed, quality and aesthetics of the job were important. They finished the job in two days at a price under what I thought was fair and the new look of the roof changed the entire perception of the house. I would not hesitate to use them again.
