Hey, they came on time and did a good job. Mousa, the gentleman I talked with and who did the work, was thorough, polite and friendly. He was also professional, and explained to me what the problem was with the seals on our exhaust pipes which were causing rain leakage into our attics. I live in a multi unit dwelling. He took photos of how he fixed the problem and showed them to me. He also gave me a time estimate for how long this work should be good for. So, I am very satisfied and happy! Not a big yelp writer but when a company responds to your requests, shows up on time and does a good job, that's a rarity in this day and age!

I had noticed a rain leak in my house, our HOA arranged the repair through State Roofing Systems which sent two guys to my house; Mousa and Kevin. It took them about 10 min to diagnose the problem. They were very courteous and Mousa explained to me the problem in a very clear manner. After the repair, they showed me the pictures of the roof conditions before and after the repair. I am very satisfied with the work they have done. It is obvious to me that these guys are very professional, know what they are doing, very pleasant to talk to, and did a good job. I would highly recommend these guys to people who need the roof work.

State Roofing was fantastic! Richard Penarelli was our contact guy and he was very easy to work with and I know he gave us a fantastic deal! Their price was way below everybody else! It wasn't only the price but the work they did was 100% perfect! They put in our skylights too and they did a great job! I will recommend them to everyone getting a new roof!

Dave came out on a very windy day at short notice. He told e exactly what I needed to do, explained everything, told me this was a job for a carpenter not a roofer and all at no charge. He was very polite and efficient, throughout.

State roofing was contracted for my Townhome complex to clean the gutters in January. When I had my roof inspection for the sale of my home in early April, just 3 months later, the inspection came back that the gutters needed to be cleaned of collected debris. When I spoke to the roof inspector trying to tell him my gutters were just cleaned, he said they weren't cleaned properly.

Unfortunately since no one checks the work of these types of companies they can claim the work was done sufficiently when it wasn't. Now I'm having to fight with my HOA to either get State Roofing to re-do their work or pay another company to do the work.

Unless you plan on getting a ladder and checking their work, I wouldn't use them.

These guys are great. They were recommended by a friend of mine who said they were trustworthy (not always a trait of roofers) and reasonably priced. I tried using them on a remodel job where the speed, quality and aesthetics of the job were important. They finished the job in two days at a price under what I thought was fair and the new look of the roof changed the entire perception of the house. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Rarely do I take the time to do a write up about a contractor because I rarely have the reason to, but STATE ROOFING SYSTEMS is FANTASTIC!!!

We needed to replace our shake roof with a composition roof recently, and State Roofing was very competitive in pricing with other companies I contacted. Jared Johnson was right on time for our appointment and he took the time to explain all my options to me after inspecting our roof carefully.

The work was done by courteous, professional workers and they cleaned up everything every day on the job. The job was finished a bit ahead of time and Jared Johnson came back to be sure that we were satisfied. He even handled an irritating permit problem with the city for me that was not his problem or his fault.

I highly recommend State Roofing Systems to anyone who is in need of roofing work,.

Wow..... I had a great experience with State Roofing Systems approximately 2 years ago. I too live in an HOA and State Roofing not only posted signs on everyone's door as to when they would be starting, but also put a notice on my individual door the night before commencement of my roof. They were quick and concise. Of course, there was some noise involved (come on people there is hammering going on..did you want them to glue on your roof). I of course, have never taken a class on roofing like one of the other reviewers and If I had would never think I could roof a 200 building complex, but my roof was excellent and I am very happy with it. The price was ok. I obtained several quotes and State Roofing was not the priciest or the lowest. They were in the middle. All in all I love my new roof and would recommend the company to all.

ll never use State Roofing again. Two years ago I had them do the inspection on my house before I purchased it. Because we were worried about the roof we paid State Roofing to do an inspection in addition to our general inspector. During the inspection they found a leak and quoted us a price to fix it (which was done through them). The cost of the roof repair was taken into account in our closing costs. Less than one year later the leak was back in the same exact spot. When I called to explain the issue they said in order to REALLY fix the problem the area would have had to be ""built up"" to prevent pooling. After more questioning they said the inspection did not include underlying problems and only covered sealing on the roof. Why in the world would I pay for a roof inspector if they would not point out underlying issues? The whole point of having a roof inspection was to find out if there were issues with the roof!

So now I am left with a roof that has underlying issues that I need to fix. Had we known there were underlying issues with the roof we would have asked the seller to fix it.

Also, there was dry rot under the part of the roof that they resealed and instead of telling us they simply sealed over it. Now we get to pull that section of the roof out to replace the plywood.

In addition, they try to make money on late fees. I received a bill in the mail one day before it was due and would have been charged a late fee if it was not paid on Sunday! When we called to clarify how to pay them on Sunday to avoid the late fee they said they had been really backed up and they would give us one more day.

This is a company that is out to make money and does not care about good business practices. I would not trust them with my roof.
