Javier and crew did a fantastic job on my roof. When I first called him he responded back right away and came out. He gave me a few options because my roof is complicated. I went for a complete new roof and I am so glad I did. Javier and his crew got it done in 5 days as promised and left everything clean each time they finished for the day. Javier has always been so professional, let's us know everything being done, and why. Each roofing project he has done for us, he explains everything being done and the work is completed in a promot and efficient manner. He made himself available to speak w our solar company multiple times in order to ensure that the panel install did not compromise the integrity of our roof. My 93-year-old dad hired Stars & Stripes Roofing to replace the roof on a double wide mobile home in Santa Cruz, CA because they had done several homes' roofs in the retirement park where Dad lives. My daughter got six price quotes. Their quote of $14,000 was not the lowest but within range of others (lowest was $11,000; highest was $16,900) but this quote included contingencies like replacing plywood (five sheets replaced) & adding two new vents. The lower quotes would have gone up with ""extras"" so my daughter preferred the ""locked in price"". He seems to know what is required to be within code & to be covered by supplier warranty. The roofing supply place (Landmark Solaris) hires them for repairs too he said. They started work 07/03/23, took 07/04 holiday off, & finished on 07/06. They arrived promptly around 8 am I think. Javier ""Jay"" did not require payment until they were done; e-mailed invoice. He came inside to explain what they found & fixed. My dad's prior roof was only 20 years old so that had not been a good investment but was only $2,000 back then. They were on the 2nd day working at a place kitty corner to my dad's when I left 07/20/23. The owner, John, parked his truck in the carport across the street & was observing. He seemed very impressed & thanked us for recommending them (John had to get $1,000 down payment back from another contractor he had initially hired that quoted significantly more). Roof labor costs over three times what it would cost in Wisconsin but Stars & Stripes Roofing is competitively priced with their local competitors. I cannot attest to how it holds up in weather yet but will update if there is anything to report. Dad's place gets very strong winds that shreds fabric canopies & leaves them dangling on the frame & blows a lot of debree through a chain link fenced (I covered it with a privacy screen fabric while I was there). There is not near enough rain usually but it does fall fast & furious sometimes.

Called Javi with a last minute roof inspection on a Friday mid evening and he took the initiative to make me feel prioritize and had the inspection report with photos back to before the next close of business. Thanks to the entire Stars and Stripes Team!

I had a leak in our roof over our front porch area which caused water to drain through the eve and right over our front door. I got a couple of estimates and Stars and Stripes Roofing was the cheapest. Javier was easy to communicate with and he was at my house within an hour of calling him!
Javier and another worker showed up when he said he would. He cleaned out the valley that was dirty and shedding water and repaired the area with new roofing paper. He even replaced a couple of chipped tiles with some that I had in my garage.
I would definitely recommend Javier and Stars and Stripes Roofing. Lowest bid, did the work within 3 business days of accepting the bid, was easy to get a hold of, explained everything he was doing and showed up on time to knock it out. What more could you ask for?

The recent rains were very welcomed by out drought plagued state and my garden enjoyed the showers as well. I was ok with this rain until I saw a leak in my living room...on a weekend! I was fortunate to find Javier who came over right away to assess and explain the situation. He gave me options and promised to prioritize... which he did because it was just days ago and they are NOW in the midst of repairs and working December 31 and the days after! I am looking forward to a leak free new year and an awesome new roof that will replace the substandard one that caused the damage. Thank you & Happy New Year!

Be Aware...they came hours late. I didn't want them to rush the job. The price was reasonable. Communication with owner wasn't good. I hope they did a Good job. My roof still leaks. Just not as bad .ummm really...

Javier Raygoza of Stars and Stripes Roofing did an amazing job on my roof. I was in the middle of a renovation when I found out that there was a leaking area in my roof. Since the roof was near the end of its life, it made more sense to replace it. But I was worried that this was going to set back my renovation schedule and cost a lot.

After getting several estimates, Javier was by far the lowest, and he's fully licensed and can start work immediately. After a few days, the roof was done as promised, passed inspection, and on budget. And through it all, Javier was courteous, responsive to all my questions & concerns, and just plain great to work with.

I highly recommend Javier & Stars and Stripes Roof for a low cost, high quality work, and great experience.
