Recommended Customer Reviews

There is a lot of irony in this story. The first and most egregious is the fact that Rob is replying to this review. I tried over fifteen times over eight months to receive any kind of response from Rob or the contents team as to the status of my items.
Yes, I was absent when the pack-out started as I was in the hospital, so my mother was present to start the process. As far as someone outlining and reviewing the process, that is highly unlikely given the customer service provided to me throughout the entire process and my mother stating no one explained it to her, just had her sign. A copy was not left for me to review after I was released. In fact, I did not receive a copy until I requested it from Trey with Farmers Insurance this past December.
The other ironic portion is that Stanley states it is not responsible although their own ""important information notice"" states ""should we encounter an item accidentally left behind; it will be documented and photographed, then returned to the homeowner/insured with a receipt"". This is the policy that was signed and the policy that was ignored. Either a mistake was made, and the items were not treated as stated in their document, or the false and misleading information that is included in the document needs to be removed. Several other items besides my jewelry were not returned to me that I outlined in the numerous texts/emails send to Stanley.
As for the unpacking of boxes, yes, I asked for the boxes to be kept whole as I had only three pieces of furniture in my entire house. If the items were unpacked, they would be left lying around my floor causing further loss and frustration.
Finally, if Stanley had unpacked the all the boxes all the items that are missing would still be missing.
Again, I would not recommend this company to anyone who expects any sort of customer service or a company that abides by their own policies.

The entire team was prompt, professional and extremely organized. I had so much stuff to be moved, cleaned and stored. It was a two-day job, just to move and pack everything out. It was overwhelming for me, but the managers took charge and I was able to relax. They treated all my possessions and furniture with incredible care. They took so much stress off of me. Cheryl, David and Sherry were great leaders in the process. Their entire team was polite and accomidating during the entire process. I would recommend them to anyone going through a house flood. Donna M.

My house flooded due to a broken water pipe. Stanley packed and unpacked for me with the claim everything would be put back as it was. (They took pics before packing.) However, since the unpacking I have towels mixed in with blankets put under bathroom sinks, rare books taken out of the plastic bin they were in with no need to take out of bin at all, and placed among other books. Still missing some books. My deceased husband's clothes, which were stored in zippered plastic garment bags were removed and hung among other clothing. Absolutely very little put back as they had claimed. Furthermore, they left many items behind in the house that should have been taken. We had to call them back, then they wanted to add more charges, which they did. The estimate skyrocketed 150% more. Some things I have yet to find, such as hair dryer. It may be stuck in some box not related to toiletries or bathroom items. I will not recommend them to anyone. ?

Ashley and her team was amazing on our pack up day prior to getting new floors. Nice, efficient, very careful and professional.
The pack out crew came next to load everything up, and I have to point out how friendly and careful they were. Great work to both teams!!

Stanley Restoration and More is a great company. They showed up on time and provided good service with attention to detail. We have used many times in the past and have never been disappointed. Richard Ramirez did a great job.

During the last rain my office (1200 sq ft) had a roof leak in the valley by the front door that came in through the can light fixture. We caught it in t8me and there was a water spot on a Berber carpet by the front door. It was atop a real hardwood floor. The we area was about 3 ft square, maybe, at the edge of the carpet. The insurance company called themselves and they came right out. They estimated 800 to pull up corner of the carpet, remove the wet padding, against a little under three foot square, dry the carpet and fix the water spot on the inside roof. They were out about an hour, brought in three small blowers and a dehumidifier. They came back the next day t9 check( sat.) and decided after using a tester it was slightly still too damp and they would be back Monday to remove the machinery. They did. They never came back but did send me a bill for 1500.00. I complained, since they had not even finished, how much more would I owe. Remember it's a three foot square wet spot, not even fully wet. They finally reduced it to a little under 1100.. and they never replaced the padding or repacked the carpet. They have you so complaining does no good. I have had worse water issues at the house when an a/c unit overflowed. I shopvac'd the water, used fans and it dried. Had they told me that it would cost that much for so little I would do it myself. By the way, there was not enough water to need a shop vac. The roof repair was only 700. Always get a written estimate guarantee. And don't use these people. So.. prompt yes. Efficient yes.. follow through no.. super expensive yes. Beware.

We had a unexpected fire in our kitchen. Stanley was there next day to start cleanup and removal of burnt and smoked up items. Richard and Klarisa were an amazing help in all the things we were concerned about . Very stressful situation made easier by an amazing company. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has an unexpected accident or emergency of this kind.

Terrific outfit. Cody and Martin (sp) were a sub to Gregg Construction for my slab leak repair. They arrived on time and quickly set about replacing the carpet pad, then PROFESSIONALLY streched the carpet. Seeing their quality, I ask them to clean 2 other rooms, which they did at a reasonable price. Fast and efficient ... I'll use them again should I need restorative work!

If your Insurance company refers them I would STOP immediately, I had too much Good Cop bad cop going one. and they Don't have the Clients best interest at heart- they are double the Price because I got two quotes ,before them, but Allstate Said they were a refer vendor and they Stanley told me this was a big job like 2400. But I went ahead since Allstate was paying. In the mean time there was alot of misleading reason why they didn't show up and do things when they were suppose too and when I asked question they said it was the Insurance who told them not to do something, so I fought with the insurance and than found out , it was signed off on and okay day before they were to show up.they (Allstate even showed me the paperwork) which it seem they just didn't what to do it at this point- and than wanted me to sign a paper saying I refused to have the floor pulled up, Which I didn't, they just didn't show up when they said they would. I will NOT ever use them again, even if Allstate pays for them, to be honest if they are going to tell misleading reasons for delaying a jobs , want else will they Mislead a person on, I tried to discuss with a lady who said she was the owner and she didn't seem to care. Just Beware because they dont work for you they work for the Insurance company.. I kinda feel bad for Allstate because frankly I tore them up and it wasn't even them. if you ever Flood I would Highly recommend to find your own company and than bill the insurance, A house Flood is Chaos anyways dealing with everything, dont need a company that cant even stick with their own stories. Be Blessed Be Safe on a side note i already reported to Allstate and more to come. I used them in the Past and had a good experience- this time not so much guess all good things come to a end.

During the recent freeze I had the unfortunate situation of having a pipe burst and flood part of my home. I was beyond stressed out about the situation and had no clue how to proceed. After a call to my insurance they sent out Stanley Restoration & they took care of everything. My 2 techs were Corey Robinson & Jefferrey Stephens and they were both incredibly polite, informative and they took care of everything. I could not be happier with the level of service and if somehow all of their employees are as good as the 2 who worked on my home they are a truly one of a kind company. Thanks Again!
