They Did rebuild of 36 condos in my HOA which were flooded with about 12-18"" water in Hurricane Ian. After 25 Months, my unit was ""livable"" and I was allowed to move home! No closet doors or shelves, no electricity in bathroom (except overhead)No window coverings, no mirrors or medicine cabinets... 28 months after Ian and last 3 still not done. Substandard work in so many areas. Mismeasured kitchen. I no longer have a raised bar! I now have less cabinets, and narrower drawers. They didn't measure refrigerator or something, it didn't fit, so they had to remove the 15"" cabinet above and replace it (well, it's not replaced yet) with a 12"" cabinet above. That cabinet now will not match the cabinet above the stove, which is a 15 inch cabinet. At the same time they came up with these beautiful, probably 7 foot double glass shower doors to put in the master bathrooms in the 36 units. Now we never had these before. Where did these doors come from? How much did they cost? Did the insurance pay for these? I just think it's odd. Nobody gets things for free.. so what are we losing? This company showed no respect towards people's belongings. I was unable to afford a storage unit or a storage box, so I had to store the few things that survived hurricane Ian on my covered lanai in bins and covered with tarps. During Times when only workers had access into my unit, I had a mosaic cross stolen off the lanai wall. I came to my unit on a Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock when there were no workers present, and no one was living in my area. I found it unlocked, the gate wide open, my few worldly possessions sitting there for anyone to take (I had already had vagrants break into my lanai, steal things, camp there, and get run off). I also observed my property being disrespected when I found the water collection pan for my water heater in the kitchen, full of trash, two of my outside, dirty lawn chairs on my newly installed floors, possibly causing damage. This company removed my vertical blinds, wrapped them, then I found them strewn all over, bent every which way, in the floor of the living room. One worker even went to the bathroom in my toilet when there was no water.
I would never hire this company, Standpoint construction company, due to the substandard work that I observed in my own experience with them. I do have pictures of everything videos, anything anyone would like to see.
