My wife and I found Spring Construction / Aviv after we saw his home at an open house. We were impressed with the transformation he made to his kitchen & home. We've heard many horror stories with contractors but figured we at least knew where Aviv lived so we took a chance! We are glad we did.

From the beginning, Aviv worked with our budget (first time homeowners) and promised to meet our extremely tight timeline as we were expecting (now born) a baby. We started with a flip of the kitchen, but after working closely with Aviv we expanded our scope to re-tiling a bathroom, re-finishing hardwood floors, and completing a re-wiring of the home + recessed lighting. His prices are competitive and everyone is amazed how much we did in 2 months. We've had minor repairs post move-in and Aviv has worked with us to take care of these issues.

We plan to hire Spring Construction for future work at the appropriate time (e.g., ADU).

We cannot attest to his work. This is only to the personality of the person (not a ""gentleman"" ) that you will entrust your home to.

Aviv is inconsiderate of other people's time. On the day of our appointment he called when he was suppose to be there and said he was ""stuck."" So we rescheduled ... next appointment he showed up 40 mins late and unprepared. He perused our property (obviously with $ signs in mind) and said he would get back to set up another appointment. Wtf you knew what we called you out for, why not come prepared? Yep, you guessed it, never did. We tried contacting him and he didn't respond... a sign of what was to come.

Anyway, we think he thought the job was too small for him but it's actually a total remodel (we've been told to vet the contractor thoroughly) He acted more like a salesman more than a contractor (maybe they are one in the same and the reason this industry has a bad reputation) Anyways, we found this to be a character flaw and not someone we wanted to work with.

BEWARE-- lacks integrity and sincerity --hire someone else.

Our 40-year-old house needed a lot work. It has a cracked sky light, a leaky roof around the chimney, windows and sliding doors were single pane and not air-tight anymore. It could use a fresh coat of paint and new lighting. We also preferred wood flooring instead of carpet. One of the two HVAC units had design flaw and needed to be replaced. We also needed new closets and blinds. Our bathrooms and kitchen were remodeled ten years ago, they are still OK, yet there were a few items, such as faucets and kitchen appliances needed repair or replacement.
Our nephew asked Aviv (Spring Construction Design) over one year ago to remodel their home. After we appreciated what he did in their house, I asked Aviv to work on our house. We gave him a time frame of 3 months. Since we were not keen about visiting showrooms, we asked Aviv to make recommendations and show the samples to us. We also do not like to deal with subcontractors. Aviv is the general contractor, overseeing everything. He made good and sensible recommendations of what needed to do done for the house, such as painting, lighting for indoors and outdoors, and bringing everything to current building codes.
The people who worked on the team are uniformly first rate, special mention goes to the painters (who spent one month with us), and electricians. The roofer and the sky light team also performed to our satisfaction; there has been no leaks detected with recent rains.
Aviv organized the team well, doing everything in a timely manner. The bulk of the remodeling was accomplished in three months. When I text him about something, he responds quite readily. The remodeling ran smoothly, with the least amount of ""pain"". We are very happy with the result.

I hired Aviv / Spring Construction to convert the back room by the garage into a permitted guest house. It was pleasure working with Aviv & his team. Aviv is knowledgeable & has a vision. He was available all the time & checked on the workers throughout the whole project. He was accommodating to my requests & easily accessible. He responded to my phone calls & text in timely manner. Aviv and the whole crew continue to treat us like family way after the job is done. They completely transformed our 1923 Spanish style bungalow into a modern yet rustic, open floorplan, high ceilings, authentic, brand spanking new Spanish style home! Every step of the way, they included us in the process, made us feel like our voices were heard, but held just the right amount of healthy tension when they had valuable opinions that ultimately were the right decisions regarding quality. Throughout the entire process, Aviv kept reminding me that he understood the ""why"" behind it all. He knew who i was, what my version of ""perfect"" looked like, what our first home meant to my family, and what a dream home meant to my wife and I. Every time the team has needed to stand behind they're work, they are at the house the next day. What's most impressive are all the little improvements they made to bring out the hidden beauty from the house (and lets be honest, make it feel brand new!). They even got us a basketball hoop and hung it above the garage...need I say more! People come to my house, and they freak out at the transformation that occurred in such a short period of time, for a damn good value! Wow! They were really good and very reasonably priced as well. Aviv was a real pleasure to work with and a good honest and full of life type of guy! Enjoyed the process and the finished product was amazing!

Can't say that for most of my other house updates I've had with other companies in the past! Amazing and would certainly recommend to anyone who asked.

Their work is top quality and the prices are fair. They also did not exceed their initial estimate, which is really rare to find in a contractor. We did a kitchen, full re-painting, downstairs bathroom, plumming for a new wet-bar, french doors, and our outside landscape/ hardscape. Looks like a brand new house!

The results are unbelievable, it looks better than I could imagine, everything from design to finishing is perfect.
