I interviewed 4 roofing companies with amazing reviews and ultimately chose Bill Sprauer Roofing to complete my work. My roof suffered hail damage from the 2020 hail. I chose this company because of the amazing communication. I worked with Troy; he wanted to meet with me in person at the house to discuss what needed to be done and he had examples with him to show me as well as pointed out my neighbors' roofs to demonstrate what needed or won't be done. Then he helped me a lot to understand what my insurance company was reimbursing me for. While the other insurance companies were nice and had comparable prices, Troy definitely took the extra time to make sure I understood what needed to happen. It is this communication that set them apart from the other roofers. We had the roof done in no time. The ordeal was effortless and painless which is far from what I have to say about my own insurance company (but that's a different story). I will most def be going back to this roofing company for all my roofing needs.

Without reservation I can recommend Bill Sprauer Roofing if you need to have your roof repaired or replaced. Our job was a challenging one: 4 unit condo with very high roofs and difficult to access. The roofing team did an outstanding job, navigating well the challenges of our site. Troy was assigned as our project manager and he was very good at following up and being the responsive to handle all of our questions. He did a fantastic job getting the required materials to our site. Bill Sprauer's roofing teams are very experienced and have worked with him for a long time. They know what they are doing! Bill Sprauer himself made the initial contact with us and was extremely knowledgeable about having a roof repaired by insurance after a major hail storm. He also generously worked with us as we awaited insurance payouts. I would not work with any other roofing company in Austin -- they are so good!

I gave them a call concerning our roof, we had a lot of lost shingles and damaged areas due to the high wind damage and just basic wear and tear over time . Troy came out to assist us the first day. Gave us a quote and when we were ready to get the work done Brandon came out to assist us the second time. Awesome people, spoke clearly with no technical or sales pitches. Explained the problem and the solutions. They came out and fixed the problem that same day. No mess left behind and did clean work. Would I recommend them or would I use them again? Yes! I would.
Just to add in. I had called several roofing companies before them shopping around and they ALL gave me the run around.. Either never came over or would schedule me out for weeks later. Some even wanted to charge for just taking a look, or suggesting to replace the whole roof!

They responded quickly to our initial request, scheduled a consultation, and got us a quote all within a short time frame. Troy was great to work with, and the crew did a great job from beginning to end. They even noticed a leaking vent that wasn't part of the job and fixed that too, at a great price. We will absolutely call them the next time we need anything roofing related. Highly recommend!

All the other positive reviews are not an exaggeration. Sprauer Roofing has given us the best experience we've experienced with a contractor so far in the Austin area. They promised a delivery date and installation date and delivered on it with efficiency.
Alex is amazing as a project manager. Super conscientious and great follow-through. His customer service cannot be beat. He was seriously injured and still came out to check on our project personally several times.
A contractor that is honest and keeps their word is worth their weight in gold. If you're considering replacing a roof, definitely choose Sprauer Roofing.

had a small roof leak that i couldnt repair myself so reached out to a few different companies. when bill came out to give the estimate the first thing he did was try to repair for free with some sealant which i really appreciated, very honest. he also sealed another vent area for free. ended up being more involved so he gave me an estimate. he came in cheaper than the other company (many others i talked to arent doing small repairs...). his team came out within the week and did a great job. several rainstorms later and still no more leaking! highly recommend this company.

Very glad that I called Bill Sprauer Roofing! Quick response to my call. Troy Miller listened to me, worked with our plumber, and got the job completed. We had a leak at a plumbing vent on a steep slate roof. Troy was easy to work with, arrived on time, and we are very happy with the work. We will certainly use them again!

As a single woman who bought her first home. It's been a little difficult finding reliable and trustworthy people to fix things . I had a very bad run in with a contractor who was taking advantage of what I don't know. Troy went out of his way to show me what was wrong , even spoke to the contractor to help me correct the issues.

He saved me so much heartache. If he hadn't come to inspect my roof for another project, I would have never known there was a big issue taking place under my nose. Since he alerted me , I'm now able to have the issue rectified. I will be using Troy and his team for my gutters and roofing:

Bill is a great guy. He came out to check a leak I was having on an overhang which was the result of a maintenance item that had been overlooked. He was very honest about it and although I had called with the expectation of needing a repair done, not only did he determine it wasn't necessary but that my roof had at least 10 years of life left. If you are looking for an honest roofer, this is the best one you will find in Austin. I have several properties here and will never hesitate to call Bill first for roofing needs.
