The rep at 843 315 8642 took $841 from my debit card when I only gave him permission to take out $245. That is not being honest, now he want answer my call I'm trying not to take further action, but I have to have my money back. Thanks

I do not recommend doing business with this company. Similar experience to others, where Ralph does not even go on the roof to look at the issue and gives you an estimate. We agreed on the scope of the job to just replace a few roof tiles. I had to give a deposit (refundable) for them to come back and perform the work.
Once they came back to go on the roof and inspect the job, they changed the entire scope of the job. I spoke to Ralph several times on the phone to ask questions about the work to be performed. We could not agree on the scope of the work and he got very defensive and stated that he did not have time for all my *** **** questions and said I'll just give your deposit back.
I tried to contact him several times to get my refund, with no success. I have turned it over to the credit card company to get the refund. They have not received any feedback yet.

I do not recommend. Once Ralph takes your money, he won't call you back. Leave as many voicemails as you want, they will go unanswered. He will send people out to do the work, and they do not do what is needed and what was promised. They blame it on Ralph not wanting to spend any money, and to only do the bare minimum. Horrible experience, not sure how they are still in business.

Same story here unfortunately. Ralph Kline with Specialty Roofing Repairs came out 7/9/21 to quote roof repairs following Tropical Storm Elsa. He requested a $600 deposit which was paid and he agreed to come back on 7/15/21 to perform roof repairs. In addition, he said he would secure a building permit with City of Myrtle Beach prior to starting work. Kline said he would call morning of 7/15/21 prior to coming out. He and his company were a no show and no call on 7/15/21. We spoke with Myrtle Beach permit dept on 7/15/21 and they said Kline and Specialty Roofing had requested no permit for our job and had secured no permits so far in 2021. I finally reached Kline on 7/16/21 and he said they would try to come out 7/21/21. His on-line reviews show a consistent pattern of taking deposits and then either not returning to do work or doing subpar work. We should have checked closer prior to agreeing to do business with Kline and Specialty Roofing. We no longer plan to move forward with the Company or Mr. Kline. Will file complaint with SC Department of Labor, Licensing & Regulation under Ralph F Kline Specialty Roofing Repairs Registration number: 55095. Will file a police report with City of Myrtle Beach if deposit is not promptly returned. Will file a complaint with City of Myrtle Beach for contractor operating without required permits.

Recently I had a couple of spots where it appeared the roof was leaking and I called Specialty Roofing to inspect. They thoroughly explained what they found and how it could be repaired. I felt the price was fair and appreciated they didn't try to sell me on something I really didn't need. They showed up to do the work when they said they would made the repairs and cleaned up when they finished - like you wouldn't have known they were even there. Ralph even checked back with me to make sure I was happy with the work and that it was done to my satisfaction. Highly recommend you check with them should you have any roofing issues. I know if I have any roofing issues in the future they will be my first call. I also know if I buy another house I will get Ralph to inspect it just to make sure I get no surprises.
