100% unreliable. Todd, who gave the estimate, is all excuses. Promised to come out on an agreed upon day then texts at 4 p.m. that he can't come out for a week. If you expect honesty, avoid.

Horrible experience! I hired Specialty Roof Services Inc. to fix a few problem areas on a tile roof after purchasing a home in the Tampa area. William (Todd) provided a proposal to repair 4-5 problem areas. I hired him in August to complete the work. The price seemed reasonable, he offered a 1 year leak warranty and he claimed to have lots of experience doing these types of repairs.
He spent a few hours a day over 2 days making the repairs. After the rain, I immediately noticed wet sheetrock inside the house. Todd came back out to work on this area again but it still leaked. He came out at least 4 times before this one area appeared to stop leaking.
In total Todd attempted to repair 4 separate leaks. Every location required between 2-4 visits due to continued leaking. One time after notifying him about a continuing leak he came out and spent about 5 minutes looking at it and left without even telling me what he found. After the next rain the water poured in.
By December, Specialty Roof Services Inc had been out maybe a dozen times but I still had at least 2 active leaks. I met with Todd to express my frustration and concern about the work that was done and the results. Todd became defensive, argumentative and even claimed that one of leaks he had never seen before. This was a big surprise to me because this was one of the primary areas I hired him to repair.
I requested Todd attempt to once again repair the 2 remaining active leaks that I could see. He spent a few hours opening up the roof again but after the next rain they both continued to leak. I have not heard from Specialty Roof Services Inc since.
I have now hired a different roofing contractor since this horrible experience. The costs of repairs increased by 5x due to the addition water damage and the repair area size increased because the work was not done correctly by Specialty Roof Services.
