Our inspection was very detailed and clear. Scott was happy to do multiple estimates for a full roof or partial depending on what we could afford.
When the guys came to do the work they were on time and professional. There was and issue once the took the old roof off their was some additional repairs they needed to do and I thought ""here we go, the big overcharged change"". That was not the case at all. The addition was very reasonable and again very clear what was happening.
Scott and Andre were honest and helpful and I will definitely have them back when I get the rest of the roof done!

HONEST!!! I cannot recommend this company enough. After dealing with a leak in our roof for over a year, and multiple contractors ""fixing"" the issue, the leak persisted. I called Roof Repair Specialist at 4pm on a Wednesday, and by 2pm the next day Scott Putnam arrived. Within 5 minutes he was able to locate the source of the leak (which other companies promised was gone) and was upfront, direct, and honest about each step of the process. Fingers crossed we never have an issue again, but if so I will 100% be calling Scott to come and help us out.

This review is for both Roof Repair Specialist as a company and Scott, our roof inspector. My partner Alaine and I went into escrow this past Monday and had to quickly book our inspections. This being after many rainy days in L.A. which has all roofing companies working on overdrive. Roof Repair Specialist answered our call definitely past operating hours and were able to fit us in for the same week.

Our inspector Scott was very knowledgable and straight to the point in what needed immediate repairs and realistically how long we had with our current roof. He was incredibly quick to deliver our report knowing how short amount of time we had with our inspection contingency. Our report was clear, easy to understand, and the general notes on the report provided good additional details.

While we can't offer a review on their actual repair services we appreciated their availability and quickness with our time constraint!

Andre was very helpful. I called them on a weeknight around 8pm to leave a message and to my dismay, someone actually picked up. When I voiced my surprise, Andre said that he was the owner of the company and often stayed late to get work done. I had a few questions about some stuff that I had seen on my roof and caused me concern. Andre took about 15 minutes to hear me out and give me advice free of charge and hope of getting any work. He actually recommended that I don't need a roofer, this was amazing for me as usually people try to push their services and not give real advice. Thanks Andre, I will definitely keep you in mind if I ever need roofing work done.

Alvaro is one of the nicest and hardest working guys I have seen. He showed up to do the work on time and was really respectful and hard working. He did not play loud music, yell, throw trash of the roof. He got the job done in 1 day and really knew what he was doing. We have a window that faces the roof so I was able to see him working on the roof. He wouldn't just sit around, he actually worked very hard to complete the job.

After dealing with a roofer who took the job and never came back to fully complete the work. So I had no other choice but go about finding another roofer that could come and finish up the work. I called a few people up who did not want to touch someone else's work. Luckily I found Roof Repair Specialist and got someone to come out and take a look. Chris was very helpful and really took his time to inspect everything and break down what needed to be done. He provided an estimate on sight, and though they were more expensive then what I was hoping to spend they actually got the job done and didn't go missing. I think I made the mistake of originally picking someone that was too cheap and paying him to much upfront. Chris said that a lot of contractors just leave a job if they realize they are not going to make money. I would recommend everyone to shop around but look for more than just the cheapest price or else you'll end up in the same boat as me.

In Sept 2018 I decided to fix a leak in my roof that had been a problem for a long time. I wanted to address this longstanding problem before the rainy season. The leak ran about 25 feet along a section that connected an addition to my house. The addition was constructed more than 40 years ago. I had ""spot-fixed"" the problem over the years but without lasting results. I waited to review this work until after the first good rains. Well, the rains have come and the repair is sound. This company was very responsive and the rep who evaluated the situation and provided the estimate was thoroughly professional and personable. The rep listened to all my concerns and did not try to oversell the project. The price was fair and the work was completed timely and as promised. I am pleased to recommend Roof Repair Specialists. A two year guarantee came with the contract. I will be certain to update this review if any future leaks arise. But my experience leads me to believe that this company will fulfill any contractual terms. They earned 5-stars.
