Outstanding service and value in Enphase Solar Battery installation . Spartan Home Services gave me an outstanding deal selling me and installing 3 Enphase IQ+ home backup batteries along with their controller, shutoffs, and tie ins to the existing solar cell system. It started with Mitch Silva, their estimator, worked with me to determine which options suited me best. Next, project manager Chris got with us to survey the site and discuss the design , scope, and extent of the project. Spartan quickly sent me a copy of the project design and filed for permits with the city. Construction began soon thereafter with their supplier delivering the required equipment and supplies. On time, on schedule, master electrician Ryan led his team in the required installation of the batteries, the controller, shutoff, and tie in to the gateway. This is amazing work to see! The commissioning of the batteries went well, Ryan really is a master electrician. He, Chris, and others at Spartan work well with the manufacturers like Enphase to resolve any technical or administrative issues if necessary. Super happy customer here! Thanks, Spartan!

Spartan was a pleasure to work with on our new large ground mount solar project. They excelled from Joel's initial planning, to working with the county on plans, coordinating the work effort by Brian and team, pursuing state rebates, contacting PG&E, and Chris keeping me informed throughout. I appreciated Spartan's efforts to help us achieve the best possible rebates to help reduce the overall cost significantly. The solar has been complete for a couple weeks and it is so rewarding to see we are self-producing virtually all our power usage plus storing excess in the batteries, even though its been rainy for many days. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to finally have solar for more economical power costs and the battery backups to efficiently manage the power usage and cover those unplanned times when power goes out. Spartan really came through for me when I discovered a leak in my roof during recent storms. They were able to find time in their schedule to make all of the repairs before the next round of ten day forecasted rain moved in, (within a week or so). I would have expected the work to be several weeks out especially this time of year. I am grateful that they were able to fit me in so fast, as well as the repairs that they made. Would definitely recommend!

I called Spartan to get a bid about doing some roof repairs on our home in Davis, CA and they responed and scheduled us right away. Mike surveyed the roof and determined that it was sound, working as it was designed to and the maintenance items that had been identified by an insurance company and another roofing inspector were not structural and were an ""easy fix"". He suggested that we could do the work ourselves and explained how. He did not charge us for the visit and just asked us to call him in the future when our roof may need replacing. And he offered to help us if we had any problems with the insurance company's assessment of our roof. What a great guy! He saved us a lot of money as the first bid we got for the maintenance was over $3500 dollars. If you need a roof repair, a new roof or solar panel installation, call Spartan at 707 240 7777. I love these people! They did an amazing job on our roof! Our roof got ripped off in the last storm. They were so nice, and very knowledgeable.. And did the job quickly! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their roof redone! I am so glad I trusted them to do the job! Theyre very upfront with the pricing.. no hidden fees, or bs..would go thru them again for sure if I needed to.

Since my original review
I have had a much better relationship with Spartan, speaking with Mr. Joel Tillford one of the owners and the Founder of Spartan Home Services. Joel TillFord was very instrumental and listened.
A roof is major investment in a home, one of the biggest investments in the home. The project is now complete and looks good. The corrections and communication went well to finish the project today. Joel did a great job staying in communication with me since our communication began a couple of weeks ago. I am happy he took the reins, it's finished! I'm now happy with the roof and gutters and the home looks good ! Thanks Joel
