I called Spartan to get a bid about doing some roof repairs on our home in Davis, CA and they responed and scheduled us right away. Mike surveyed the roof and determined that it was sound, working as it was designed to and the maintenance items that had been identified by an insurance company and another roofing inspector were not structural and were an ""easy fix"". He suggested that we could do the work ourselves and explained how. He did not charge us for the visit and just asked us to call him in the future when our roof may need replacing. And he offered to help us if we had any problems with the insurance company's assessment of our roof. What a great guy! He saved us a lot of money as the first bid we got for the maintenance was over $3500 dollars. If you need a roof repair, a new roof or solar panel installation, call Spartan at 707 240 7777. I love these people! They did an amazing job on our roof! Our roof got ripped off in the last storm. They were so nice, and very knowledgeable.. And did the job quickly! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their roof redone! I am so glad I trusted them to do the job! Theyre very upfront with the pricing.. no hidden fees, or bs..would go thru them again for sure if I needed to.

I have had a much better relationship with Spartan, speaking with Mr. Joel Tillford one of the owners and the Founder of Spartan Home Services. Joel TillFord was very instrumental and listened.
A roof is major investment in a home, one of the biggest investments in the home. The project is now complete and looks good. The corrections and communication went well to finish the project today. Joel did a great job staying in communication with me since our communication began a couple of weeks ago. I am happy he took the reins, it's finished! I'm now happy with the roof and gutters and the home looks good ! Thanks Joel

Back in March we were told by our insurance agency that they were going to drop us due to our old roof. We got quotes from 5 other Contractors and none came close to Spartan. They even offered financing which was a huge plus for us. We have a lease through Sunrun and Spartan Home Services are a 3rd party vendor and are able to take them off and put them on without disregarding your warranty/lease. Forrest was very professional and helpful along the whole process from start to finish. The roof is under a 50 year warranty and guarantee which is nice to know that I will not have to change it anytime soon. All the Guys who came to work on the roof were efficient, professional, and very trust worthy. During one of the days of work one of the gentlemen let us know that while they were nailing they heard glass break and wanted to go into the attic and clean up the mess and replace the light for us. Now that is some real trustworthy customer service. I would recommend this Company 100 percent! They even offer discounts off if you do a package roof/ Solar Deal. They made this whole process simple from the beginning quote all the way to the final inspection and reinstallation of the solar. Can I just say the roof looks amazing as well and makes the house look so much better than it was. Thank you again for all your hard work and making it an easy process for us.

Great Service, prices and products
I had Spartan install both a new roof and solar on my home.
They worked with me to structure a deal that I was not able to beat from other suppliers. Being an engineer, I did quite a thorough analysis of the various options presented by the other major and local suppliers.
GREAT PRICES
They were able to support the application for the Self Generation Incentive Program to obtain the rebate from the State of CA for the two Tesela Power Wall Batteries.
They installed the roof in a few days being quite through. I have had many complements from the neighbors on how good the roof looks.
Then with the departure of SunPower in the Power Purchase Agreement market they quickly changed to a new supplier, LightSource, and keep the contract unchanged and were able in accelerate the installation of the solar.
GREAT PRODUCTS
They were always able to answer my call as they had dedicated project managers and skilled technicians. An error in my 220V service to the clothes driver was resolved the same day.

The whole process went so smoothly I questioned whether this could be construction. I don't really look at my roof very often but it definitely looks great. The real blessing was the people who helped me, the roof workers in particular. They work so hard through this heat and somehow were always smiling when I saw them. Some of the hardest working people I've met. Jose took the time to show me photos from up top and cleaned up all the little debris that had gone everywhere. They even blew and swept before leaving. Review Update July 2024.

I want to share my review update regarding Spartan Roofing. I strive to offer constructive criticism to help others like me. After posting a review about Spartan Roofing a month ago, I was surprised to receive a follow-up from Dayne, an employee of Spartan. He apologized for the issues and assured me they would investigate and address it with the owner. The owner, Joel, also contacted me the following day to apologize and express his understanding of my concerns. Both Dayne and Joel helped alleviate my frustrations. While there was some miscommunication, my roof was completed. It's worth noting that Spartan has its own roofing crew, but they subcontract some projects. Upon further investigation by the owner, it was discovered that the workers had repaired a rotted area on my roof at no extra cost, which I appreciated. For future training tools, some improvements would be to focus on better communication, transparency, and meeting customers' expectations. I was grateful for the follow-up from Dayne and Joel and would consider working with them again in the future.

This company has lied since the beginning every time they do something wrong they apologize but they don't fix it they lied about the color they lied about when they were going to do it how they were going to do it three out of the four gutters that I measured were the wrong way the roof is not a 4and12 and they wrap the underlayment wrong and they refuse to agree and said that it was wrapped right so here's a picture of it there's no way out they suck
