Met with Pedro, the owner, he gave the most competitive bid and I gave him the job. He was supposed to start the job on a Wed, no call. I call him and he says there may be rain so he needs to push the job to Friday. I am out of town, but I tell him that the roof needs to be torn off to sheathing for inspection on Monday. I come back on Monday to find no work done. I call him and he tells me that he has guys coming out later today. I tell him don't bother because I'm cancelling the contract.

Seemed like a nice guy but he's the type of contractor to overpromise, under deliver and not communicate anything to you. Not recommended.
