I had an encounter with southside roofing not while getting a roof installed, but when one of their fleet vehicles side swiped my truck on ambassador Caffery and ran. Gave the license plate to the corporate office and after getting the run around for days was finally told to let my insurance handle it. They did not handle the situation in a professional manner whatsoever. They would be the last company that I would choose to put a roof on my home.

Right after hurricane Lara, we contacted Southside Roofing and they responded quickly and gave us a free estimate. We had other estimates and decided to go with Southside. We wanted a METAL roof at that time. This was in August 2020. They kept putting us off with different excuses about why they couldn't get us a metal roof. Then in March of 2021 we went to their office and asked again why they couldn't provide us with a metal roof. Problem was that metal was hard to get and they didn't have a crew that could install one. We asked the how long it would take to get a regular Architectural roof. They said the following week. So we went with that roof. They came and installed it in one day and it looked nice. Not long after it was installed, we developed a leak. A manager came over and put some caulking in the area where the leak was. Great. But not long after, we developed another leak in the same spot. The same guy came and put some more caulking on it. Not long after, we developed a leak in the same area again. He sent the little female foreman over and she caulked it. A bit later, it leaked again. This time they sent a worker over and he put a piece of sheeting over the area. Well, that blew off and he came back and reattached the sheeting. All this time they promised to replace the shingles that were the problem. Here it is September 16th and still no shingles. Not happy with Southside Roofing. I have since quit replacing my ceiling tile as I have a hip replacement and a bad back. I really would like my NEW roof repaired. The excuse I am getting now is that they only have one crew left as all the others have left to go to Southeast Louisiana.

I wonder if I could get someone else to repair my roof and send the bill to Southside Roofing. Humm. Just a thought.

Y'all should really learn how to drive. Whoever drives the gold Ford F-150 with your logo blasted everywhere on it is speeding, cutting people off and can't even keep the vehicle on the road. Keeps hitting curbs. Also it's called a blinker ?

Was so nervous trying to find a company. Set an appointment with lance. They came out even during a busy time Showed up for the job and did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and one of the best crews I've seen working in while the Supervisor Lance answered all my questions and was very informative They took of roof off Put double the amount of flashing around areas they knew would be problems. The whole job was supervised very well bosses making sure everything came down safe They put new roof on same day. Great price very fair and honest would highly recommend to anyone for roofs or carpentry work licensed and permits were gotten I'm thankful I had a big job go so well!!

They repaired our roof in late 2018 due to hail damage. Their roofing guy came out to meet our insurance adjuster, and took care of the preliminary work.
Within a few weeks of initial call, our roof was done in just a few days with no issues.
Most importantly, their clean up was very professional!!!

I would recommend them for any roof job!!!!
