Our company is a locally-owned roofing service, owned by Thomas Armstrong, proudly serving the Bossier area. Our journey began after realizing that residents in this region faced a lack of choices for top-notch roofing and general maintenance.

We take great pride in our work. The commitment we have to excellence every time is why we hand-nail all of our shingle roofs instead of cutting corners.

Many ask if I’m just a manager or if I’ve truly roofed. I roofed my maiden house two decades ago and have been involved in roofing and remodeling ever since. After a few years with another regional business, I made the choice to start Southern Roofing.

Why did I create Southern Roofing? The answer is simple; it wasn't right that there were so few roofing providers in Shreveport/Bossier that commit to honesty and excellent craftsmanship.

Seeing the need for trustworthy service for my community who deserve quality work is what led to the creation of Southern Roofing. Having spent more than 20 years in roofing and remodeling, I can confidently say that I’ve seen many transformations. One of the notable changes has been the diminishment of pride that companies have in their work. At Southern Roofing hold a strong pride in our craftsmanship.
