Our company is a community-focused roofing service, led by Thomas Armstrong, proudly serving the Bossier area. We started this company after realizing that residents in this region had a lack of choices for quality roofing and general maintenance.

Our team takes significant pride in our craft. Our commitment to excellence every time is why we use hand-nailing for all of our roof installations instead of cutting corners.

Many ask if I’m just a manager or if I’ve actually worked on roofs. I worked on my initial house two decades ago and have been in the roofing and remodeling industry ever since. In 2013 with another regional business, I decided to launch Southern Roofing.

What motivated me to start Southern Roofing? The answer is simple; it wasn't right that there were not enough roofing companies in Shreveport/Bossier that value honesty and excellent craftsmanship.

Seeing the need for honest service for my neighbors who expect quality work is what led to the creation of Southern Roofing. Having spent more than 20 years in roofing and remodeling, I can confidently say that I’ve seen many shifts. One of the most significant changes has been the decline of dedication that companies have in their craft. We at Southern Roofing maintain a genuine pride in our work.
