Southern Roofing is a community-focused roofing business, managed by Thomas Armstrong, serving the Northwest Louisiana area. The company was founded after realizing that residents in this region experienced limited options for quality roofing and general maintenance.

At Southern Roofing, we take significant pride in our craft. Our commitment to doing it right every time is why we manually nail all of our shingle roofs instead of using nail guns.

People often wonder if I’m just a business owner or if I’ve personally roofed. I roofed my first house two decades ago and have been involved in roofing and remodeling ever since. In 2013 with another local company, I decided to establish Southern Roofing.

The reason I founded Southern Roofing? It’s a clear answer; it didn’t seem fair that there were limited roofing providers in Shreveport/Bossier that commit to honesty and quality work.

Recognizing the need for reliable service for my fellow residents who deserve quality work is what led to the creation of Southern Roofing. Having spent more than 20 years in roofing and remodeling, I can confidently say that I’ve observed many changes. One of the most significant changes has been the decline of commitment that companies have in their craft. At Southern Roofing take a strong pride in our craftsmanship.
