I have a flat roof in my house and these people installed a new roof for me and sent me a bill for more than $8000 for simply the wood they claimed to replace! I was shocked and after for an itemized bill to prove it which required obtaning a lawyer to help get. I was then given a list of wood and sent some photos of the wood they removed which was exactly how I expected!! After the roof was installed I asked for someone to come show me how it was tapered as it's not even visible to the human eye, the person that came was so rude an told me I wouldn't be happy with anything. if it rains there are puddles all over the roof! My experience with this company was one I wish I never had. My flat roof is only 1377 sq feet!

i thought i had the best roofing company because they followed up by trying to schedule while i was out of town.  they have terrible oversight and direct managemnet. here is what really got me angry. before you read keep in mind i owned a small labor-based business painting and restoration business and i developed the best reputation in the state in only a few years, i also managed 26 offices in nyc. so my background is very well versed. i understand management and communication better than most.
when they began the jobs a supervisor was here to drop off some materials, he left at 9:30 and never heard or saw him again and had no way to contact him. that alone is absurd does he think his men are that good. i never met a laborer that qualified to be that very concerned and i hired several hundred. so as the job progressed i kept calling the only number which i believe it was justin, several times i had to call to repeat my concern as i could see the men were not getting the message.
here is what really upsets me, i made it clear before beginning the job that i was concerned about moisture specifically any wood getting wet would be unacceptable  
so they started the job on a rainy week  the last hurricane rain.
that would not be so bad if i did not have to intervene with the workers because there only motivation is getting the job done (my concern is getting the job done correctly )

1st) when they were leaving the first day after removing the roof and finishing the back 1/2, i told the worker to cover the remaining area with the tarps it was cover with the underlying paper that is used now in lieu of tar paper, the worker said it is waterproof so i called the company they say it is water-resistant, so why not cover even if it were waterproof, what can be more important on a roof but preventing water or moisture seeping in. of course, he did not cover it and when i came home at 9 pm it was pouring and raining on and off the next day, but they did come at 7 am with the intent to finish the roofing i told them no way. after i called and justin and the message was transported they then tarped the roof, not a bad idea since there was a possibility of hurricane winds.  
2nd) they skipped the day and the next day or day after after the rain stopped they cam at 7 am ripped off the tarps and finished the roofing in 3 hours and left at 10 am. what they should of have done was taken off the tarps and let the area air dry even for a few hours and still could have completed the  job that day. of course, the men need work and money andi understand this more than anybody, but my job should not suffer the consequences.
my issue is simple whn my men worked i worked around the weather not their hours, the quality of the job was the utmost importance, and i must say it was sometimes very difficult for painters in the north, if wood got wet i may wait 3 days before priming the wood. one day a worker just stipped some wood with heat and the wood was dryer than it would ever be, it was 4:30, my worker, was going home, i told him no way you wll leave this perfectly dry wood especially since it was going to rain before he would return, so he stayed and primed the wood.keep in mind i am extra concerned about moisture and wet areas also because of prior experience and mold and trapped moisture sometimes never really escapes, it is to bad they have terrible if any oversight and management.

Please stay away from this company. I called to get the name of the person's boss I was dealing with. I called and spoke to Justin he was extremely rude and condescending. He said the boss is in a meeting . What's the problem ? I explained my concerns. Justin then accused me of using profanity which I did not . He lied, that is unacceptable, he lied . I said excuse me I didn't say anything bad to you. Justin then said I am full of SHIT. Then hung up the phone. Unacceptable, no one should lie on customers or should talk to them is a rude manner. Unacceptable one of my child heard the conversation and was in disbelief. She urged me to call back and record the conversation, I couldn't. Find another company to replace you roof. This is not it.
