I had my lanai rebuilt after Ian. New to the area I had a couple of estimates. I choose Southern Aluminum based on their location and also the longevity in the community. They stood by everything they said they would do.
After the completion of my lanai there was a leak in my roof. And if you ever had to deal with a leak you know they one of the hardest things to find. And again the stood by their commitment to the quality of work they do. It took a few visits but they found the leak. Tyler is the man they send to figure out the solution to the problems. He was outstanding, respectful, professional, knew just what to do. My thanks to Matt Myers (the owner) and his team.

What a great find! Thanks to wonderful neighbors this business was recommended to us after Ian when our pool cage was completely demolished. Craig came by quickly and gave us an estimate and put us on the list. We knew we would have to wait under the circumstances but were glad to do so based on their reputation with builders that my husband knows.

They recently finished and that team of young men could not have been more professional and organized. They were tidy and worked in synch with one another and responded to all my questions. The end result is honestly ten times better than the cage I had when my home was brand new and that was six years ago.

Don't hesitate, they know what they are doing!

This company did our railings through our builder. The corner joints kept splitting. They tried to blame us for the damage, but eventually came and tried to fix the problem. The fix was temporary, and joints broke again due to poor craftsmanship.

Fast forward after Hurricane Ian. Lost some railings. Called for replacement, and was told nobody would be out to give an estimate for 2 months. 4 months later after no show, I called again, and was told they were a few months out on estimates. 3 calls later, now am told they are a couple months out for estimates and 2 years out for work. I've explained that I called several times, but the girl didn't seem to care. By this time, I should've had at least an estimate, but haven't even gotten a call back. Definitely going to find someone else that wants the work. Very poor business ethic!!

We lost a cage during Ian and I called numerous times in an attempt to get them to come out and give a quote. First of all, their line rings busy constantly. Once I got through, I was routed to voicemail and didn't get a response for a week. Finally received a response and was told someone would be calling to schedule an inspection, and that was 10 days ago. If you can't even get them to come out for a quote, I certainly don't want them having a large deposit and then having to wait for them to finally come out to install it. Stay away!

Our pool contractor had Southern do our pool cage. They did a very good job. The workers were very courteous and answered any questions that we had. They showed up on time and were very thorough. We liked their work so much that we contacted them to do our side gutters. Once again they responded right away and gave us a fair price. The installers were out in a matter of a couple of days and and they completed the job very quickly. We told the installers of a couple of minor issues with the cage and someone responded right out to correct them. We highly recommend Southern. They respond to you right away and do a great job (unlike several other contractors we have dealt with in FL).
