This company cost me a claim with my insurance company that wasn't necessary., They claimed that my roof was damaged by hail .. Mr. Ryan Gildemeyer came out and said I had hail damage! He also said he would communicate with the insurance company during the time they will evaluate the roof . They didn't do anything they said they would do. They lies about my roof ! I had another company to come out and look over my roof , the company advised me that my roof is in good shape and has no hail damaged at all .
This company is corrupt , fraudulent and lack the integrity to be in business . Mr. Ryan Gildermeyer, you are such a liar !!

INSURANCE AND CONSUMER FRAUD, I hired this company to do my roof, they did and were in and out in a flash. The problem, they agreed to match another company's quote for the same work, same shingle, item per item matched. After my insurance paid for the job, they tried to over charge me $7536 dollars stating that this was the balance due after the insurance paid. It was not, I got the other roofing company to look at their billing to my insurance company, looked at the payments made and we all agree....THEY WANT TO DOUBLE BILL ME FOR PAYMENTS MY INSURANCE COMPANY REIMBURSED ALREADY. THIS IS INSURANCE AND CONSUMER FRAUD....RUN and RUN Fast. I have disputed their charges on-line with them, called at least 10 times to go to resolve the matter, asked for arbitration as to pay the balance due and cannot get a phone call other than they are not willing to discuss the matter. Dawn is a pawn with the company and she has no idea how to resolve billing issues. They have placed a lien on my home so I will continue the free consumer beware marketing for them until they will have a phone discussion on their business practices. I would not recommend them to a friend or family member.

I personally have had to deal with them after they destroyed half of my home and the little bit of work completed took fourteen months and still was not did correctly. Southeastern Roofing was contracted to replace the roof on my home in 2018 at a cost of $27,000. The job was completed and they were paid in full. The materials and workmanship were warrantied by Southeastern roofing. Earlier this year (2021) I observed mildew on one of my walls. Closer inspection revealed a leak from the roof. I have called and left countless messages for Southeastern Roofing over a period of months. Not a single message has been returned. In the meantime I am faced with out of pocket expenses for a new contractor to correct problems that I was given assurences by Southeastern that they would stand behind. An expensive roofing job that failed after a mere three years is cause for alarm. A roofing company that refuses to return phone messages to a distressed homeowner is unconsciousable.

These people are GOLDEN.
In case you don't know, the roofing industry is literally infested with shysters, charlatans and various shady people. Both business practices AND craftsmanship are highly suspect. HOWEVER- I have found Southeastern Roofing to quite literally be a Godsend! From start to finish- they did what they said, when they said and how they said. High caliber quality people, very smooth and professional business processes - both financial and project management- and outstanding construction craftsmanship.
I had a short turn around on selling my mother's home and so not only did they do an outstanding job start to finish with the 'normal' roofing job... they did it in an expedited turn around allowing me to close on time.
Then, on top of that, I had a small roof repair on my own home they handled extremely well.
As far as I'm concerned, Southeastern Roofing is the ONLY roofing company in existence!!

They are not deserving of the one star! Do not use this company!!!!!! I will tell you why.
1. Very inconsistent with appointments. Roof scheduled for Saturday then told could not do had to do Friday told at 2pm but started at 10am. Had to quickly get dogs out the house so that they did not go crazy.
2. Given on price then sent 3 fluffed amounts (outside of today's market value) to the insurance company, it was the insurance company that warned me of what they were doing.
3. Promised to be compensated for all the errors never done. This company has no communication internally with each other the right hand will say something then the left hand will call and say something else.
4. They have no office front in Chattanooga and can not come up with an address.
5. Trust me it's just better to go with another company these people are constantly operating in unfair business practices and have been reporting.
6. Their workers gave us a quality roof cleaned up well but are possibly not being paid a liveable wage for the great job they do as well.

Further to my review of 2/6/19: I have been contacted by 2 separate individuals from this company to see if my review would be taken down. The answer is ""NO!!"" Not only has my roof not been inspected to see if there are any other shingles out of position due to debris left behind by their careless workers, but there has yet to be a final invoice from this company presented for the work done. WARNING: There can be fraudulent charges presented to your insurance company and you will NEVER know! ! Shoddy work, lack of accountability, insurance fraud and overall dissatisfaction. NO...do not recommend this company.

This is simply the best investment you can possibly make with your time!
If I only sang high praises, it would still not be enough to show the greatness of this company. Therefore, I am compelled to share a brief statement of my experience.

I had a really tough insurance company, American Family. They only wanted to repair my roof and not replace it. However, the two representatives from Southeastern Roofing Company: Katherine Ward and James Bowman addressed the issue with the upper management in my insurance company. Katherine and James had my insurance company reopen the case and represented me on my behalf all the way until my insurance fully covered not only my roof but also my detached garage!

The success came with little to no effort on my part and far sooner than I could have possibly hoped. I was kept informed of any progress by Southearn Roofing whom were always accessible to me. In the entirety of my experience, I felt less like I was dealing with a random company and far more like I was working with friends who cared about my home as much as I did. I am not one to endorse anything haphazardly, but this company has truly earned every sentiment. I very highly recommend them!

This weekend, one of your roofing representatives stopped by my home after driving past a sign in the front of our neighborhood that says no soliciting. They proceeded to knock on my front door after viewing a sign there that also said no soliciting. After startling my dogs and upsetting my child, they then left. Later that day while I was outside playing with my child and had my neighbor's children over as well, they came back AGAIN and tried speaking with me while I was busy with all the children. First of all, I saw and threw away the advertisement they left on the door. Secondly, after seeing two signs that said no soliciting, one would think anyone able to read would be able to understand I was not interested in having them come to my home uninvited. Something is seriously wrong with the people working for your company and if you think ignoring people's simple requests to not be bothered is going to make someone want your business, you clearly don't understand customer service. I would never use your company and certainly would never consider it after the way your sales people acted. I look for companies with good reviews who respect their customer's time and privacy.
