I called 5 different roofers to get and estimate for a new roof. Carlos was the first to call me back, 3 companies didn't call me back for a few days. He came out in a couple of days with an estimate and called me with an estimate and sent pictures and shingle colors.
He took care of the permit and had the work done in a week! Carlos took care of everything. Very happy with the workmanship and the clean up as well.

I had 5 skylights installed on my house just before last winter. and At the time the communication was good and work was quick. I did notice they reused the existing shingles to patch around the new skylights which I brought up with them that they didn't sit flat. After the work was complete and winter had come there was condensation showing on the inside flashing of the skylights which would drip on the ground. I called them to investigate and they couldn't figure out the issue. I called velux and sent Carlos a brochure showing that they missed an insulating layer on the flashing that should have been installed. The reused shingles are now also starting to fall off. I've called and text Carlos several times to fix these issues before next winter and have not received any communication back. It's been an extremely frustrating experience and now close to going into the next winter with leaky skylights. They don't honor their work, be careful!

Communication was good until the project was deemed completed but wasn't. I paid based on photos, but the final trim was never installed and shingles came off last winter. Screws came through my tongue in groove ceiling in several places. I'm not satisfied with the work. For 27 grand I expected more. I have left messages and emails but am unable to contact the business.

We were scheduled with Carlos to have heat tape installed in a couple sections of the roof, but unfortunately he no-showed, and now won't respond to messages. It was a huge winter so we booked well in advance and confirmed a couple times before the date to make sure we were set but... No luck.

Can't say enough good things about Carlos and South Shore Roofing. I tried to get anyone to come over and help me fix a leak that was ruining sheet rock in the house, but no one would even come out to look. Carlos went way out of his way to help a 72 yr. old that doesn't want to climb a ladder. He not only came to look but went ahead and did the work right then! This is a family owned biz and I will use them for all my roofing needs and I recommend them for anyone that needs a new roof. They are knowledgeable and reliable, which is hard to find in Tahoe these days.

Him and his team were on time every day, cleaned up after themselves, and were professional from start to finish. I have a 2 story barn style home with a separate garage. They demoed my old roof in one day and had the new one on in 4 days. I would recommend South Shore roofing to anyone that needs a roof!

Carlos is great and easy to speak with. I had an ice/snow melting cable that came loose from my roof. Called South Shore Roofing and they returned my call in about an hour and went to my house THAT DAY and re attached the cable. Now I don't have to worry about some huge icicle forming on my roof and falling on my head.

Price was totally reasonable. I recommend South Shore Roofing!
