From the communication, knowledge, and quality of work I don't think there is a better option in the CSRA than South Point. They got out to me quickly for an inspection, got me scheduled, and helped me with the insurance claim to make sure I got the best roof replacement for my policy. Great people and even better service!

Let me start with this; Nick is fn snake. This guy may come of as nice guy, and tell you everything you want to hear. This guy convinced me that the job will take almost whole day and it would cost $1,200 with military discount. Well, this job took hour and a half, and it's normally is about $400-600. I guess it on me for not doing my due diligence, but I didn't realize that people in the South could be this dishonest.

Just FYI, industry market is around $100 per hour. Overhead is about 10%, with profit somewhere 10-20%. So, when this snake told me is going to take most of the day, the quote for $1200 makes sense.

I plan to report the contractor with their Surety Bond, report it to contractor's state license board and file a lawsuit.

I also wonder why they don't build homes anymore.

One, I didn't say I was satisfied with the quality of your job.

Two, just because you don't charge by the hour, doesn't mean you should overcharge.

Three, it took you a few days to reply. I guess you and your employee had to come up with an excuse. His opus sounded just like your comments.

I guess you have perfected the art of scamming. Legit companies will write out an invoice. That was another clue to stay the f away from you.

Can you tell me why you no longer build homes?

I knew what I wanted, they knew how to do it and much more. I wanted a room above the garage - ended up with a large room, full bath and large floored storage area. They knew what they were doing - first class. Best part they all worked together - plumber, electrician, wood floor installers, windows, etc., all working as a team. Great job. Highly recommend.

They just don't care about their work. From the guy who gives you the estimate to the head of the company. We are having to hire another company to redo our roof after SouthPoint ""fixed"" it. And they even used subs to do the roofing.

So, we had South Point do our roof about 6 months ago or so. Firstly, they monitor their reviews on their website, as mine was never posted. I gave a fair review. The initial roof install was great. However, the first day they came my car was in my garage and they backed their debris dumpster behind the garage door. I told the workers it would need to be moved. They said they couldn't do it that day, but they would come in the morning to move it by 6:30. No one showed up until 7:15, which almost made me late to work. After the roof install, they never checked in with us. The materials were left on our driveway over a week before I contacted them and they moved them. I also reported on some areas where they had pulled up and scratched areas of the siding of our house. There were a few days passed and they gave me a call which I missed and showed up ten minutes later when my husband was working nights. I told them they would have to come back another time and the guy replied with ""well, can we at least look at it so our trip wasn't wasted"" very annoyed. Then when they finally came back to fix the damage, they color matched the house wrong, so it looks terrible in the touched up areas. Then they forgot to do an area. Makes me not want to work with them again, as once they got their money they did not care. And on top of that the reviews on their website are not truly all the reviews of their customers.

These guys did a great job on our roof for a great price. They ripped up and replaced my roof all in one day. The job looks great. The crew cleaned up everything and you wont have even noticed they were here.

So South Point replaced my roof in July of2017. After having a problem with the finished product that they corrected. I was asked to tell people about them, which I did. I sent them to my brother's house to fix a leak and he had gutters put up. The gutters in the front of the house are twisted and the roof is still leaking! When I spoke to Billy about being very upset at the workmanship he sounded like he really didn't care, since my brother had already paid him. The remafk he gave me after I said I would be making bad comments about them if this wasn't corrected was ""with every bad comment he was given, there were two positive comments to counter it "" so he wasn't concerned. My advice. If you use South Point, Don't completely pay them till you are satisfied.
