While fixing my shed roof shingles I was able to see the top of my two story roof was missing a ton of shingles. USAA sent out an assessor and they said it was covered. They recommended Soukup Roofing and Juston Edwards came out and assessed it. Have a quote and the next week they went to work on it. Their team covered all of my stuff and worked quick. Replaced my window screens, gutters, shingles, underlayment, drip edges, and even cut new roof decking for damaged areas. They had the shingles all off in 2 hours, main roof installed new shingles in one day, and second day finished the gutters (machine shapes and cuts to size gutters on site for a long continuous piece) and tightened it all up. Left it cleaner than they found it. The team lead was awesome!

Source of the problem: the gutter was improperly installed by other company, and damage occurred past the warranty date. The other company came out to cut the problem parts of gutter away. Soffit damages remained.

Soffit was rotted through for the second time in three years. USAA recommended several companies, including Soukup Roofing. Dawson promptly responded to my call, was thorough, clear, professional.

The roof lip was lifted (due to poorly installed gutter) and caused water to pool. I was worried the rot went all the way through from roof to soffit. Soukup Roofing professionals came, saw that roof was fine along with underlying wood. Had the integrity to show me that the roof was fine. Didn't charge me. Recommended a carpenter to address soffit.

When I need a roof replaced or need to address any issues with my roof, these professionals are my first choice.

As I mentioned in my previous review from 2016, I would use them again.
With all the recent hail in this area, my roof needed to be replaced. So I called Soukup Roofing again as I said I would and the results were nearly identical to the last time. They were very kind and explained everything and answered my questions without hesitation. Everyone I have dealt with has been so nice. From the person I spoke with on the phone initially, to the actual roofers, to the estimator (Josh) to the final inspection (Justin). It seems to be a hallmark of this company. Not to mention they take great pride in performing excellent workmanship. The final inspection proves that to me, and not only that they send an additional person out after completion to make sure everything was cleaned up and used the magnet again for any stray nails. Attention to detail. Who does that? None that I have had experience with.

I hope I don't even have to have another roof, but if I do, I won't hesitate to call them again.

I called for an estimate after a recent hail storm. Josh arrived on time and inspected the entire roof and gave an honest opinion what areas needed to be addressed. He sent me a proposal later that day that we agreed upon. The following day they sent out a crew who repaired my roof in a clean & professional workman like manner. I had a positive experience and would definitely recommend them to family & friends in the San Antonio / Boerne Area.

Soukup Roofing completed roof replacement for our main house, detached garage, and barn. Juston was our project manager and I can't tell you how happy we were with his knowledge, support, and help. There are lots of roofers out there and we are so grateful we selected Soukup Roofing for our project. The crews were extremely fast and clean. Each day it looked like no one had been there they cleaned so well. OMG! We have had a leak that we tried for years to solve. Roofers/handy men, you name it! Yesterday, Soukup Roofing sent a rep to come look at the problem. Juston was awesome! Courteous, patient, respectful. He spent about an hour here and concluded that in his opinion, our issue is not with the roof, but siding and trim. (Proven with a moisture meter!).

He suggested that we have a few more years left on our roof and that we should try caulking the siding/trim to address the ongoing water issue. Can you imagine? A company that doesn't try to sell you something you don't really need? I'm VERY impressed, and I'm very hard to please.

As a side note, in our conversation, he mentioned that the company has had the same crew for many years (I think at least ten?). I will definitely be calling Soukup in a few years when it's time for that full roof replacement.

I was given this Soukup Roofing phone number to call for a repair on my roof. Eric came for our app and checked out my roof. He was positive and said it was good solid roof. He listen what we wanted done and gave several suggestions. B/c of the honesty he has 3 roof repairs on the same block. Scheduled the repair following week. We are going w his suggestions like a wired covering on the pipes to prevent critters getting in the house ..

Very professional service, from first estimate to final inspection. All workers were polite and did their jobs well. One worker was assigned to continually keep the work site clean. Six months later, no leaks or need to call them back for any follow-up service. I am happy to pay my good money for such excellent service.
