I contacted Jack Zawacki with SOS Roofing in Georgetown, SC, to explain about a fellow Veteran who had a leaky roof, and had been living with it that way for nearly 6 years. Jack and his assistant, Harrelson, set an appointment to come and inspect the roof, then sat down and took the time to explain to the Veteran homeowner and his wife what the process would be, the type of high-quality GAF Shingles that would be used, etc. He then was able to get three material suppliers to DONATE their materials, and at that point, the owner of SOS Roofing, Shane O. Stewart, decided he would cover the cost of the labor. This was a gargantuan accomplishment by Jack, and he was able to get his crew and the materials scheduled two weeks later. I was at the property for the entire process, and this crew was amazing, as were Jack and Harrelson. Professional, excellent workmanship, and great clean up of the property upon completion. This was an amazing blessing for the Veteran homeowner and his family, and I will forever refer anyone with roofing needs to reach out to SOS Roofing. I even had Jack and Harrelson come and inspect the roof of our VFW Post. OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND WORKMANSHIP.

I needed a new roof and wood repair affected by the roof. My soon to be ex insurance company refused to acknowledge the need, so the cost was all on me. For that reason, along with my situation dealing with all this alone after disasters, and my persnickety nature, I take the project very seriously, and when I say I made the right decision choosing SOS, believe me.


I say this only to emphasize why SOS is the company to choose: Since my parents' deaths, a spine injury, and 10 years of disasters, I have tried to keep the house nice in their honor and memory; yet, I've been shocked to be subjected to crooks left and right. Someone took $1700.00 and did not rebuild my steps. A well known large local company did a horrid job rescreening, adding 2 porch doors, etc. ... and there's more, so I had no idea what to expect from SOS other than a recommendation I hoped would be true for me also.

SOS Roofing is more than just a company. These are PEOPLE who are good, honest, and caring people. From my experience, I can tell you that the job (and a bit extra) will be done well and done right - period. They will not accept anything less no matter what time and work is involved. THE JOB AND ALL INVOLVED WITH THE PROJECT WILL BE DONE RIGHT. The Stewart Family has the work and personal ethics to accept nothing less.

Did they do a quality job on the new roof? DEFINITELY YES! Are their prices fair? Again, YES! Are they here to help on time, friendly, professional, and all you'd want when having people on your property? They are all of that and more. They are great people with a wonderful crew.

I also learned that, as the owner is a contractor, they do more than roofing, so I hope to work with them on several future projects.

I have a mile long list of people who have ripped me off on the houses, so for me to put these people at the top of my ""Great List"" along with a very few others in other areas ... Trust me, they deserve to be there, and you deserve to have them work on your roof and house!
