They offered great financing terms on a big project so we agreed on it and we gave them a substantial down payment for the job. A week goes by and they plan a date for the start of the project. It doesn't happen. They tell us the weather won't allow it. Fine. A few more weeks go by with no rain in the forecast and we still haven't heard back from them. I might have to file a police report if we don't hear back soon.

During the heavy rains, one of our skylights started leaking. Sonoma COunty Roof Repair came out the very next day, and not only identified the problem, but showed how all the other skylights were faring. He came back the next day and did a ""roof tune up,"" resealing the skylights and vent pipes. We're very pleased, and are considering them for a complete roof replacement.

Updating to be a neutral review. Although we can't be normalizing making and missing appointments, and a lack of follow-up on communications, it is unfortunately par for the course for most roofing contractors right now due to the recent storms and the demand it has created. That being said, as a business, it seems prudent to know your capacity to service your customers well. Quality experiences lead to repeat business. What happens when the rain stops and the phones stop ringing?

We had some missing shingles due to a previous repair job and with the sudden rain storm we found ourselves in need of a professional to help tarp the area. Lucky for us, at 5pm on a Saturday, this company was open and provided great service. They were helpful and gave us options over the phone. To Start I do not normally provide 5 star reviews but... My experience with Sonoma County Roof Repair was amazing. I hired them to perform Solar Panel and Gutter cleaning, as well as pigeon proof my panels.
Their quoting process was very quick, competitive (Well below other quotes), and accurate.
All communication leading up to the appointment was amazing. Jose was very responsive and answered any questions I had with utmost professionalism.
Jose Arrived the day of the planned appointment exactly on time and worked through the day to ensure my project was complete same day.
All my panels were perfectly clean, all gutters run clean and clear and most importantly the pigeons have moved on to another nearby house!

To top off all the great work, Jose came back a few days later to further inspect his work and notified me he would be in contact in 6 months to perform a checkup.

Very quick to respond. We were on a time crunch and Sonoma County Roof had a rep come quote the next day for us, and they were able to service us within our timeframe. Good communication is helpful when managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Jose who worked on our gutters was transparent with us in regard to the condition of our gutters and what he could do to assist us in the short time frame but informed us that eventually they would need to be replaced in the future due to rust. I guess that's expected, given that our gutters are most likely the originals from 1977. Thank you for the quick, no BS, let's get to the point service!
