These guys have been a nightmare from Day 1.

I have a T & G open beam ceiling that has had stuff falling into my apartment during the entire roofing job, not just the tear off. My whole apartment inside was covered in wood and asphalt particulate debris from the old roof. I even had to go to an ophthalmologist to get a small piece removed from my eye. Bedroom, kitchen, living room, everywhere except the bathroom only because paint filled the cracks in the T & G. If you walked barefoot inside, your feet turned black quickly. Even after the tear off, constantly slamming the big rolls of TPO on the roof knocking more crap through the ceiling. I've worked for several roofing supply companies across 12yrs and I know you can avoid such impacts that shake the whole damn apartment.

Then the painting. They were supposed to be done last Thursday, but still weren't even done this Thursday. Now, at 8:00am on a Saturday they decide to show up after a week of basically nothing and start bang'n around. Yelling, constant joking and fooling around, too many breaks, loud boom box music, these guys are a joke. Crap everywhere.

My landlords are clearly getting ripped off, and I only represent one apartment. When will they actually finish? No one knows! This has been goin on for over 3 weeks now. It's only a triplex.

Considering how legit their website seems, I am surprised their work crew has such little oversight.

Had a few projJECTS around the house that needed doing and they were able to compete all of them in atimely manner withosaidutpp much interruption to our daily routies. they aarved when they said they would and cleaned up quite well after their aork was completed.t prices were VERY reasonable

Our house was crashed into by an impaired driver while we were home which caused extensive damage to the front of our house and completely destroyed both of our bathrooms. There was structural damage to be dealt with as well. It was a very traumatic experience for us. We had a number of construction companies come over to give us a bid. Oscar and George came over to give us a bid and they were the only people went under the house to take a look and pointed out things that others did not. Oscar is very friendly, accessible and communicative which is important. Our job was a big insurance job and they went above and beyond to make our home even better than it was before. George is excellent at tile work and we always get compliments on our bathrooms that they rebuilt from scratch. They did the framing, stucco work, drywall, plumbing, electrical, paint. We always recommend them when people ask if we know any good contractors. After they fixed our house, we had a family member have their roof redone and house painted by them and he is happy with their work too. I know there are a lot of bad construction companies floating around in Sonoma County right now. This is not one of them. Highly recommend.

True confession... Construction projects scare me to death. There are a lot of scam stories out there. I was fixing up my house; getting rid of dry rot, including some rot on some siding, the roof and around my chimney. Plus a new paint job.
I was soliciting bids when I came across a post card from Sonoma County Construction.
I called Oscar for a bid and he showed up right away. His bid was more than reasonable and more important to me, he could do all the work I wanted done. This greatly improved the time to completion as I didn't need to schedule multiple contractors.
I must say that I have been thrilled with the work they did. The crew was punctual, the work excellent and they cleaned up after every day.
I couldn't be happier with the service they provided and have already outlined some additional work that I will have them do. I am confident they will do it well. Oscar has been wonderful to work. I can't recommend Oscar and Sonoma County Construction enough.

I am a property manager responsible for over 250 rental units. So let me begin by saying that finding a good contractor is truly easier said than done.

Generally speaking, contractors are known to be a Larry Lunchbucket - good at swinging hammers - but not necessarily good at 'business'.

George was a referral from a trusted colleague, so I set a meeting to meet with him in person. As my business has grown, I have had the need to seek out more licensed vendors to help me take care of properties. I can tell you, I have had to interview a lot of guys to find one who met my expectations to become one of my Preferred Vendors.

Although he is a very experienced contractor and business owner, George agreed to take on little jobs as the stepping stones to develop a working relationship with my company.

He quickly earned my trust with punctuality, communication, and follow-up. When I send a vendor out to do 'any' job at a property, I am putting my reputation and my company's responsibility on the line. Therefore, it is extremely important that I know that my clients (property owners), their property, and our tenants are taken care of.

It is my pleasure to give him my highest recommendation for all levels of residential property maintenance and renovations.

A small list of work he has done for me: Roofing, fencing, dry rot repairs, replacing (many) water heaters, repairing broken sewer lines, vacancy turnovers with paint, carpet, blinds, etc.
