The final job was fine, my main concern was that it took 3 visits to get the job done correctly. There was poor communication between the salesperson and the first installer.. they brought a window that didn't open in the correct orientation. They had to come back with the correct sky light but they didn't bring any finish trim and had to come back a third time because it was a different installer who came the second time and didn't get the note. They were pleasant, prompt, and did a good job finishing it all however, so if i could have left a half star more, i would have

I used Solatube Home for my new tempered glass skylight and I am very pleased with the service and the results! I had an old acrylic skylight that was very dried out and was having condensation bead up on the metal rim every morning (due to inadequate sealing) and dripping water on to my floor, so I upgraded to the tempered glass from Solatube.

The entire process was very quick and they were able to schedule my free estimate and subsequent service within about a week of my initial contact. I love that they manufacture their own product in the USA (in CA) and that the skylight comes with a 5 year service warranty and a 10 year parts warranty (I may have gotten that backwards - but there's a warranty, thats the important part!) For the speed, quality, and professionalism, I felt they provided a great value and I feel confident that they'll address any issues that may arise subsequent to the service (I am not expecting any, but things happen, so I am glad they stand by their work!).

Installer Brent Garcia and his coworker took great care in covering up the floor under the open skylight and helping advise on how to protect the piano I have under the skylight. A very minor thing to expect, but it shows they care and those little things speak to their overall level of care and professionalism. Frankly, people's level of care in the trades is all but nonexistent, so when someone does show they care, I am always very pleased!

Lastly, I love that they provided me pictures of the work after completion. God knows I am not going on the roof to scope things out, so I appreciate the extra touch to show me how it looks!

I definitely recommend Solatube home!

We noticed our Solatubes from street level appeared corroded.
Horatio came out and confirmed that yes indeed they were. He provided an estimate for all 4 solatubes. Turns out, our general contractor years ago did a shoddy, inconsistent installation where in one case, surprisingly the top didn't fly off. As a temporary fix, we had it taped down.
We scheduled the repair a few days later. Aour technician Trevor was friendly, professional and efficient. The work estimate was originally for 5 hours. He worked alone diligently and completed the job a few hours early. He was able to conduct all the labor on the roof plus was able to shave off some unnecessary cost.
Thank you so much Solatube Home for your help. It was a relief especially with the recent heavy rain downpour during the holiday season. Highly recommend!

Fernando and his coworker were awesome, (which I'm embarrassed to say, I forgot his name, he did introduce himself), the whole experience was great very satisfied with the installation, looks great. They did a great job cleaning up, would definitely recommend Solatube, and would use in the future if needed.

The experience with Solatube was outstanding beginning with their initial communications, sales rep, and installer. Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. The sales rep, Horacio and installer, Trevor were thorough in their explanations of the product and installation process. The whole Solatube process from first sales visit to installation was quick and painless. Special kudos to Solatube's communication protocol...lots of texts and emails kept me informed of who, what, where, and when. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

The last review was not favorable due to conflicting issues with seller and tech.
I was called to revisit the issue with the field manager. Long story short, I was able to get the whole house in but not the Solartubes. My main reason was the fan. The added plus would have been the tubes.
I'm happy with these results if the fan is looking forward to the cost savings.

Lance and Melanie were great in answering my concerns and offered me a fair estimate and scheduled an installers appointment promptly as I was concerned with the possibility of coming rain! So on the installation day Brent and Jordan showed up as promised and on time, actually a few minutes early! They took the time to go over the roof and skylights which were over 40 years old and to this date don't know how they were fastened or mounted since there were no screws or bolts holding the skylight in place. How ever it was mounted it was definitely permanent and on there as well! A mystery to me and the installers, but regardless with some skill and creative thinking, both Brent and Jordan came up with a solution to replace the skylights that worked for me and solved the problem! Bravo guys! Great job! My big thanks to your creative thinking and I would highly recommend your company and work! Nice to know there are people out there that truly believe doing the job right the first time that way you only have to do the job once! Again BIG Thanks!

I don't know why I waited too long to have my kitchen put Solatube. I wished I had called for consultation way back. Horacio and Chris were wonderful to show before and after pics, and explained all our doubts and concerns, Having a Solatube in my kitchen and dark hallway was one of my best decisions! Thanks Chris!
