This company was initially great to deal with pre-sale. I thought it was the most deserving 5 stars I would ever gave. Then, the sale happened. As you may have guessed, it all went downhill from there. Every single promise or appointments were met with a great deal of difficulties. I am not sure if it's an Orange County issue they're having or they are just unorganized and inefficient. As we speak, my system was finally turned on many days ago. But, something as simple as enabling the app, which all competitors offer, has not been able to get done. Can you imagine the more complicated activities?That's what I have been dealing with. At every step, there is an issue.
I found that only one of their employees is reliable. He was the salesperson. That's it.
Given that the installation is complete and I am told the system is on, I have to give them 1 star. But, I don't recommend them. I regretted not going with Solar city or other competitors with a customer service center that doesn't work banker hours. I suppose you get what you paid for. But the savings is not worth the aggravations.

Solartech originally installed solar for our pool about 4 years ago. The time then came for us to consider whole house solar, and I got quotes and presentations from about 4 other solar companies, none of whom wanted to move the pool solar. This brought me back to SolarTech, who had a no-nonsense proposal to us within a day, and dispelled some of the misinformation provided by some of the other companies. The install was great & a few hiccups aside, we had a functioning system not that long after. Overall a great experience with them & would highly recommend for anyone looking for any type of solar!

I gave SolarTech 5 stars because of their ability to put the panels up according to the initial assessments that were run through me. The whole install staff communicated the status of the install and that was excellent on their part. They kept me/my husband informed of any issues. I would recommend solartech to others.

Absolutely Amazing job done by the SolarTech crew. Jason Stringham (Owner) came in and had the best suggestions and knowledge. He ensures to explain how the system works and is readily available to meet or answer any questions before, during, and after the installation. The crew was very professional and give frequent updates. The customer service men and women (Ashley and Shauna) were kind, courteous, and extremely help. This company is by far the best in the business. Do not hesitate to call and hire them for all your solar needs. They are not a company just looking to sell you a producr they are there to ensure the customer is the #1 priority and your happiness is 1st!!!

I did a lot of research and interviewed many solar companies. I found SolarTech to be the best value. SolarTech can match your needs to the best solar system. Some solar companies only provide one solution but SolarTech can provide the best solution for your specific needs. Their customer service is great the they had the lowest price. My system is 24 360 watt panels with Solar Edge power optimizers and inverter. This is a great system because each panel operates independently without clipping power at the panel. Highly recommend SolarTech.

I waited a couple of months before writing this review to make sure everything was going as planned. That said, I could not be more pleased with Gino, Grant, and his crew of technicians.

We installed 26 Sun Power panels and associated microinverter systems on our west roof.

We interviewed five other contractors prior to selecting SolarTech, and found SolarTech's price very competitive, and their product the best in the industry. In addition, their work was on-time and professional, they left the home clean and tidy, and they returned to replace any damaged roof tiles as agreed.

I could not have asked any more for their good work and follow-up service. And thus far (late winter), the system is performing as predicted.

Late review, but I had solar since October 2016 and I can say that I am totally satisfied with the work that SolarTech has provided. I haven't had once issue since the installation. The solar panels are set up beautifully on my roof and the conduit was nicely hidden unlike other houses where conduit lines are shown all over the house which I believe is unattractive. I was excited to save money on my electric bills and boy does it feel great. The process and installation was quick and professional. Everyone was easy to work with and extremely friendly.

My sales guy, Eric Broderdorf, is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. No questions were too small for him. He responds quickly, day or night. From the time we signed our contract to the end of the installation, he remained active to ensure our satisfaction has been met. The cost was by far the cheapest and most affordable than any other solar company. The hardest part of the experience is the wait for solar to be installed because of permits before they could proceed. SolarTech submits all the permits for you so you basically do nothing but sit back and wait. They even monitor your solar panels to make sure they are fully functioning. How great is that?!! I know I am in good hands if anything happens.

For those wondering if I should get solar....DON""T WAIT. Talk to Eric and he will be able to explain everything to you. I was a doubter, until I talked to him. With the rising cost of electricity, its the smart thing to do to keep costs down. I also got a tax credit from the IRS which makes this deal even sweeter!!! This is totally worth my time and investment. I know I will be saving tons of money for the next 25+ years. Now we can run the AC during the summer months and the heater during the winter months without worrying about my pocket book. The only thing I regret was not getting solar sooner.

If you want great customer service, friendly staff and quick installation at one of the most affordable solar systems in all San Diego, you have come to the right place. Thanks SolarTech!!!
