Most incompetent solar Contractor in the State. Ordered a solar system in on October 10th, 2018 and still have no solar system as of December 9th 2019 .
It took about 10 months to get the roof on. It took them over 2 months just to re-process a permit that they had to change because they changed their solar panel vendor.
Already paid them in full and now we are on the third solar install date in 2 weeks and we just got another cancellation even so there has been no rain at all since their last cancellation.
I have been in construction for 30+ years and never seen such as poorly managed contractor.

PetersenDean failed to live up to their contract.
PetersenDean is untrustworthy and dishonest.

I signed a contract with PetersenDean 13 months ago to fix my roof and gave paid the 10% down payment that they required. The project was delayed by rains (certainly not their fault). But when I called in the spring to find out when they would get around to fixing my roof i was told that it should be soon. I waited patiently and called back at the beginning of November. I was informed that they had cancelled my project a month earlier, but they had failed to inform me. When i called to find out why they had cancelled my project they said that it was probably a mistake and they would check into it and get back to me. Two weeks went by with no contact. When i called them back all they could say was that the project was still closed but again, with no explanation. Today they informed me that they did not have the ""resources"" to fix my roof. Amazing, after their own inspect climbed up on my roof and told me that they could do it. Now 13 months latter just when the rains are returning to our area, they tell me that they made a mistake and that they do not have the ability to complete my roof repair. I have observed several other companies fixing roofs in my complex, including my next door neighbor, so i am baffled how they do not have the resources to fix my roof.

I highly recommend that you hire a more honest roofer.

PetersenDean is fine for your roofing or solar installation needs. They were reasonably priced and the process was fairly straightforward. The installation went well.

HOWEVER, that's where their decent service ends.

If you have a need for anything to be done later, forget it. I currently have a need to replace gable end-caps on my roof because I need to have my house painted.

The painter said I should get the roofing company to fix those because if they do it, it may void the roof warranty when they lift the shingles to get at those nails. Sounds reasonable.

I have been trying for weeks to get anyone at PetersenDean to even talk to me. I've called multiple times and been told someone would call me back soon. I've made the person answering the phone track someone down to talk to me and was told it would be months before they could get out to take a look at it. When I said I didn't love that, but let's get it set up, they said they'd have to call me back and then never did.

I would suggest that there are companies out there that would do just as good a job on your roof or solar project but that would also be responsive afterward and that you might want to check with them before going to Petersendean.

PetersonDean called and have someone coming out this Friday to do the repairs around the house. We will see if all will be fixed. Thanks Yelp for helping get their attention. I will update with the results.

So far my experience with PetersenDean has been less than stellar but getting better.

Today PetersonDean sent out an amazing technician who came checked my system and conducted necessary updates.

They came in, took the old fence down, installed the new fence and gates, all in less than 3 days, and had the old fence taken away, in over 100 degree heat, the fence crew at PetersonDean rock.

I called Petersen Dean based on a referral from a contractor friend. Mike DeSouza took great care of me through the roofing process (they also sped it up so we could beat the rain!). They were more flexible than other roofing companies and were reasonably priced. The TPO installers were very professional and friendly and talked me through the process. Sara Vanderver from PetersenDea came gave me a priced and great rate, very professional, polite, as were the crew's. They were reasonably priced and alway's arrived to work when they said they would! They worked cleaned. We are super happy with the results. I couldn't recommend enough for the work PetersenDean and his crew did it for my fence and gate. Well, it's been 4 months since we gave deposits for a roofing and solar project. Hardly any communication. All I want is a date on a calendar! I call, email, beg. Nothing. When I threatened to cancel the order I was told ""go ahead."" Only reason I haven't is because of our financing package.

Why do Mr Dean and Mr Peterson continue to advertise on tv and radio when they can't even complete the contracts they have?

Please ask Mr Dean or Mr Peterson to call me because no one else in the company appears to give a shit.
