Ripp-off!!!

Went with Peterson Dean/Solar4America because of the 25 year warranty that would give me peace of mind. The first rain season my roof started to leak. They came out and supposedly fixed it. Once it rained again, I had another roof leak in the same place. Called them again and they told me they could not respond until the rain season had passed???

Once rain season passed, they said they had filled for bankruptcy but that as soon as they got the okay from the court, they would be out to fix my roof. After several months of not hearing back from them and not answering their phone, I emailed them and they told me i was shit out of luck! Because whoever bought their solar side of the house didn't buy their liabilities.

I now have a solar system with NO warranty and a leaking roof.

What a way to hold your part of the deal Peterson Dean.

Total Ripp-off of a company!!!

I am so disappointed! I was told before we purchased that are true up would be around 350 it has been this year and last year around $1250! We haven't done anything different except use a small AC in my grandsons room. I mentioned before we got started that I was retiring and I needed extra panels put up because I was gonna put AC in the whole house which I didn't. With the extra panels that were put on my PG&E bill is not making a difference. My husband barely finished paying off his part of the 22,000. Now they're telling me I need to add more panels! I am retired I do not have that money. If they would've been truthful in the beginning I wouldn't of gotten it!

Stay far far away from PetersenDean Solar4America. Do yourself a favor, see yelp and BBB reviews filled with mirar complaints, also the many citations in CDLB (Calif State Lic Board ) in San Bernardino. ""Beware of the hand shake that had a snake""

Buyers Beware You have been warned, wish we had!! No 0 or -0 to pic

The roof installed by Petersen Dean has now cost an additional $4,100 because they left an open gap between my two rooflines - which became an open door for roof rats to enter my attic. There was not an open gap with my old roof, and I never had rodents in the attic before. I am in the process of having the attic stripped and sanitized and all of the openings that Petersen Dean left behind sealed up.

I can't get a call back to check on my system or ask questions. The mailbox is full.
My system was installed in 2013 so I am luckier than newer customers.
I would like to find out how or where to go for updates and questions or turn to if I need repairs.
I wish they would reach out to their customers and tell us hold on or move on

I am so disgusted with they're handling of my solar installation or should I say lack there of. Paid for solar panels and installation in January/February and was then told that we were in the queue for installation. Permits were approved (County/HOA) and then COVID19 hit. Total lack of communication followed. Then contacted project manager Dan to be told that chapter 11 was filed and would be resolved by July 1st. Here we are in late September and still no communication from anyone about our project. They have our money so I guess they just don't give a damn about our situation. I will do everything in my power to get our money back. PetersenDean can kick rocks!!!!

Peterson and Dean reroofed my house 10 months ago with a 30 year warranty. The roof tiles on several areas of my house are tenting up. As peterson and dean is going through bankruptcy, no one picks up the phone. I need them to repair the roof that they just installed and no one will help from their company. There has been nothing but problems with this company. Quotes were wrong. Amount owed was incorrect. Craftsmanship is apparently crap. Warranty is worthless as no one will come out to repair their shawty work. Could not be more disappointed in a company. Absolute garbage, stay away!!!!

I guess I feel lucky that PetersonDean only screwed me out of $1400. Like others they completed my job out before it was actually finished. So I was getting billed before my system was even installed. After the install was completed minus the pigeon proofing that I payed $1400 for. It sat for months waiting to get the authorization to operate from my power company. I already had some existing solar so I did not need a net meter install. After three months I found out that the power company was waiting on PetersonDean to submit some missing forms. So here is the best part. Got authorization to operate, I called PetersonDean to turn my system up and they told me they have the customers turn on the system and to watch it on YouTube. Luckily I am an Electrical Engineer so that was easy but I know how difficult it could be for someone who is not as mechanically inclined. Before my system got turned up I kept reaching out to find out where is my bird proofing. They kept telling me they needed to get a different contractor to do that. So then the virus hit. Now Bankruptcy. So i am out $1400. I should of trusted my gut with this company but they got me with the low interest rate.
