If you're in the market to get Solar, obviously I would recommend using Solar Optimum. I did get tons of quotes and while Solar Optimum was not the lowest price, but overall I felt like it was the best value.

One of the main reason I chose Solar Optimum is that they used Panasonic Panels. As an added plus Panasonic actually warranties their panels should Solar Optimum no longer exist (which I doubt), but it just gives me some additional peace of mind. From what I understand Panasoic does not do this for all installers.

I signed up during the peak season when Net Metering 2.0 was expiring. They were very responsive with regard to quotes and helped answered all the questions that I had. Admittedly the install itself was a little delayed due to the aforementioned deadline as well as weeks on end of rain that delayed everyone.

Everyone that I dealt with here was very responsive. Kudos to William/Angela/Jilbert/Devin/ Chris/Gina/Marissa!!! Like I said very responsive team. They walked us through the whole process and worked with our HOA as well as handled all the communication with the City.

Thanks Solar Optimum and I can't wait to have my system pay for itself in the long run!

I did pretty extensive research and felt like they were were competitive in quality, customer service and price. Kevin my main contact and Gina my design consultant have been very accommodating. Very quick to answer my calls. Helped work with me on making changes I wanted with no problem.

My brother (a Solar Optimum customer) referred me and couldnt be happier. I've been shopping for a residential PV system for my home for the past 3 years. I pulled 3 quotes within those years found the cost to be quite varied . . . from $56K down to $24K for similar capacity systems. Solar Optimum was the most reasonable ($24K).

I didn't pick them because they were the least expensive. I chosed them because there product and warranty were the best in the business. I""m an Electrical Engineer by profession and researched them extensively.

The whole process from beginning to end was terrific. William Padilla (my consultant), the office supprt, and the installer all kept me informed throughout.

We tried to work with them but every question we asked took a week or more to get a response. Originally we were going to have 110% coverage, but when they sent over the deal the best they could do was 83%. When we asked for options to get this higher they made it seem like we're being a burden. We really wanted to work with them because they offered the best pricing but their sales system was a joke.

I signed a contract with @solaroptimuminc and then signed a modification agreement after their roof inspector reviewed our home. Been calling them to schedule the job and keep getting promised a call/email by EOD. Call them back a week later only to be told again I will get a response by EOD. Been going on for 8 weeks. We searched for a solar company for over two years. We listened to each companies pitch, researched their product lines but always were left feeling uneasy with either the small print or the companies reviews.
Enter Solar Optimum. We found them to be honest, upright, straightforward with no hidden costs or other issues. We signed the contract and they immediately went to work. Within a very short time we had the panels installed and working perfectly. They even pulled the permits from the city and met with the city inspector. Over a year later everything is still working properly. We are saving thousands a year not paying the electric company, we also acquired an electric car this year and have since eliminated our gasoline bill too. I highly recommend this company, you will be pleased and you will save money.

In the search for a solar energy provider, I received many inquiries and quotes.
At first glance, the 20 or so quotes I received, the price per watt is what stood out to seemingly make your decision an easy one.
Looking more closely at the technology that was being offered made the difference. Solar Optimum was one of the three I chose. They offered the best solar panels, and for me the main difference maker was the micro inverter technology.
Solar Optimum offered their best configuration upfront. The other solar providers I talked with did not. If you do not have some sort of understanding about the technology, many solar providers are less than forthcoming with the disadvantages of the initial solution they are presenting.
I spent a number of hours on the phone with two solar providers that could not match the Solar Optimum solution. Save yourself some time and start with Solar Optimum.

Solar Optimum has the best warranties and offers excellent panels and inverters. They gave very good service and made sure that our installation was neat and tidy. Ivan Pinzon was our sales rep and walked with us through the whole process from beginning to end. He was faithful to answer our questions and followed up in a timely professional manner.
