Gotta give credit where credit is due. 2nd year of being a homeowner in LA and I wanted Solar for my second home since Cali has some of the best weather compared to the east coast. Solar Optimum was a company by solar enthusiasts for Solar enthusiasts like myself. Let me elaborate, requested a quote via Yelp. Was contacted back within 45 minutes, thought I'd shop around. Yea, not much out there, trust me on that, not even close, especially when compared to the deals and panels Solar Optimum offers, 2 weeks later, I gave Charles a phone call back. What I liked about Charles was his approach and how pro-like he seemed. You could tell he's fluent and up to par with his products. Sold.
2 story house, with a new roof (remodeled in March), the crew was able to install 16 LG panels at my request. Total installation time took less than 72 hours, everything out the door, plus having to paint the rack mounts and cleaning out, took about 5 days. All done.
2 weeks after everything was done, Solar Optimum sent a team to just follow up and make sure everything is nothing short of perfection.

I found Solar Optimum on Yelp and from several companies I got a quote from they were the only ones that took the time to tell me the difference between lease and purchase and why they don't lease solar systems. They were the most honest out of all of them.

Also, they only use US Made panels, inverters and racking systems. I asked them why they don't offer other none US Made products and their answer was that they don't cut corners and won't install anything that was not US Made. This made me feel like these guys are true to their word and trust worthy. Can't beat that now, can you?

Their team finished installing my 10kW system with micro inverters about a month ago and I got system connected a week ago.

I highly recommend Solar Optimum their work and straight forward approach. Big shout out to Nardoss, making them digits count baby!

I had a full solar install at my house by Solar Optimum. Charles, who sold us, is very nice and knowledgeable. There was a bit of an issue during the install with one of the workers. Charles resolved the issue and we were back on track,

One thing that has really stood out with me about Solar Optimum that has meant a lot. I have had a few questions subsequent to installing the panels and the work being long since finished and every single time Tom, has gotten back to me immediately. I can't underscore immediately enough. This has really impressed me with the follow up service I have gotten from Tom. A lot of times once a job is finished the contractor disappears and that has not been the case with Tom and Solar Optimum.

I had wanted to install panels on my house for like 4 years but held off because it was such an expensive investment.

I finally decided to pull the trigger when I realized the deals, tax breaks and rebates weren't going to stay around forever.

I got like 8 quotes from places within 50 mi, and talked to many different companies but Solar Optimum seemed to have the best reviews on Yelp.

The quote from Solar Optimum was about the lowest cost for the most watts by a longshot. I was also able to add central a/c, new windows, along with my front door on my house so they were able to quote a system that should cover just about everything.

I ended up purchasing a 15 kW system and after all the rebates the total cost was only about $25k, breakers n etc.. quotes as well.

When the crew came out to install it only took 3 days total for panels/breakers to go up and running.

I did have to get a new main and sub panel on the other side of my house. That work was done by an electrician named Albert that Solar optimum provided. Albert was a pro and did a excellent job. I will be needing him for some electrical work in the near future, most definitely. The relocation of the panels also was a major task but they included it in the quote. Thank you Carol, she coordinated everything to the T.

LADWP took a bit longer to approve my case, totally up to the power company at this point, you really can't do anything, it took 2 months only because LADWP lags totally. However Solar Optimum kept me on point and up to par with everything. LADWP approved August, been generating power straight through September on forth till now.

At all times Solar Optimum kept me informed as to what was happening and if I needed to do anything. Everyone I interacted with was very professional and friendly.

If you're even considering going Solar, would be a total shame not to get a quote from these guys.

I made my decision based off these 5-star reviews, called several other companies in the area, consulted with 3 sales reps and 1 in person appointment, I went with Solar Optimum in the end, because of the best price and they were the most honest. Charles was extremely professional, he was the gentleman who initially sold me.
Installation was a piece of cake for Jessi, who came with his team about 5 minutes early from scheduled time. This company is the definition of professional. They performed at a very high quality level and they were very clean. I was mentioned by Charles that ALL the work will be done by highly trained and sophisticated employees. Top notch service at the lowest price, I don't think any other company west of the Mississippi that could even come close to these guys.

No question was left unanswered, no issues at all with any of the work performed, everything done accordingly as planned and scheduled. Their coordinator Carol gave me a call and personally thanked me after everything was done, another gentlemen who's name I totally forgot, had called and followed up, came down to check that the unit was nothing short of running perfect.
The most amazing experience I had with Solar Optimum was how easy and effortlessly each and every one handled this order, everything was installed up and running within 15 days.
Anyone who's even considering going Solar, don't even bother looking elsewhere, call Solar Optimum, I promise you will not be disappointed.

I found Solar Optimum while browsing through Yelp, and just had my rig turned on this week by Edison, which was a headache, but that's another story. Tom, acted as my contact person and overall he coordinated everything. He was very patient with my many questions, thorough, and helpful. I decided on a 6.5 kw system with 26 panels. They e-mailed me all of the the necessary paperwork for my rebates and city permits as I had requested, and I simply signed on the dotted line and scan/faxed it right back. Fortunately I qualified for the rebate program, which for me made the overall cost, out the door a tremendous savings that I couldn't turn down.

The installation was completed in less than 2 days, and the team was efficient and professional. Overall, excellent job. I will follow through in the near future with an updated review, which I'm almost certain will be 5 stars. Thank you Solar Optimum!

Installed Solar at my house 2 weeks ago, and here's my experience with Solar Optimum. I called at least 6 places, I went with Solar Optimum, initially because they gave me the best price. But on top of that, the experience I had with them after making the decision was like the cherry on the topping.

I RECOMMEND Carol, the highly trained coordinator. She is incredibly responsive and helpful and knowledgeable, and she really explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. She also helped me regarding financial options, including their REBATE program, $0 down! Can't beat that now can you!?!?

Solar Optimum took care of all of the paperwork, and from the date of HOA approval, it took them ONLY 3 days to get 25 panels installed, and then another 8 days for LADWP to approve the installation! Last step was the solar meter installation, which took only a total of 7 days. So starting less than a month after my HOA approval, I was already generating solar power! I'm almost certain the timing will ALWAYS vary, but these guys at Solar Optimum are always on top of things, effortlessly. They are the best at what they do, nothing short of professionalism.
As of now the system is generating way more then what they guaranteed to be the minimum rate, and despite a few issues with the monitoring relating to distance from my wi-fi to the monitor (which was not their fault), everything has been fantastic. The sales manager Amir, really took care of me EXTREMELY well. I'm very pleased.
The absolute most highest recommendation I could ever give to Solar Optimum. I know that I received the best price for my solar experience and installation but the best part is that I got it at a GRADE A+ level!
