My install took a significant amount of time to not only get started but also complete. They failed to call before trenching and severed the main PG&E line that was underground to my house. In the process it destroyed the new electrical panel they had just installed as it ripped the lugs and wires out of the panel down the wall of my house. They did fix all the damage and I went half a day with no power as PG&E crews had to had dig to find the wires to rerun a new line to the house. They did compensate me for some PG&E charges for the delays. I've updated my review based on trying to do additional business with them. I wanted to purchase a Tesla battery and no one would return my calls. In 8/2024 I tried to hire them to redo some wiring so my solar would charge my Tesla battery. Adriana promised someone would reach out to me and I waited a month and several follow up emails before reaching out to Cindy Michael with the email chain and still no reply. My system was paid for in cash anytime payment was requested. They will spam your email looking for referrals for new systems. I've never found a company where it was so difficult to spend my money on upgrades. They have some amazing people who work there. It's sad the sales team always wishing for more as once they got the money it's difficult to get anyone to talk to you. Will be looking for a new solar company to manage my system and to install the upgrades I'm looking for.

Solar Negotiators installed 26 panels on our house 5 years ago. I found their calculations to be right on; best investment for our family. Our PGE runs about 120. With no true up. I did have a inverter go out last year and their service department was exceptional in replacing it.

They installed solar years ago for me. Did 24 panels. They have had to replace panels and cell cards but it is always a fight and hassle. Now I have 3 bad panels (they installed Canadian not USA made) they will only replace with different size and different color. They will not recommend any other companies to do what they can not do. So now I have 1 non working panel (for about 8-12 months) and 2 under-producing that should be covered under warranty (but cant match the size or color) that I'll have to have replaced my another contractor. When this company first started it was a great company and all about customer service, i recommended to everyone. Now it's ""this is what we will do take it or leave it, we really don't care"".
Or they also said ""We are not able to give you a company that might have one, they only thing we can advise is that you try to source the module online somehow.""
Be careful with their warranty you may find yourself sourcing the panel online.

Every time we had something scheduled it always got pushed back or re scheduled, literally EVERYTHING. Started in July still haven't had my appt to go over all our stuff and finalize but they are demanding payment and already took it before my solar is active. So had I had to pay Edison and my loan company for the solar. Honestly Once you pay or are approved on the loan they couldn't care less about you because at this point they have your money and they will be quick to remind you of that. I even had my roof redone by them and still looks the same but They told me it was good. Look at the pictures. At this point I don't even believe the whole 25 year warranty BS but we'll see what other toxic business practices are in store.
P.S : I forgot they caused damages to my house and didn't even tell me, only caught it due to my cameras. They ended up fixing it but only since I brought it up.

As of right now, I am giving 1 singular star. My husband and I started the solar process back in May 2024 with this company. The initial steps to begin the process was wonderful. We were informed of all necessary steps and was told it would be approximately 6 weeks to get the system up and going. We were getting email updates on progress and what they were pending etc...which was all well and good. However, it was not until September 9th that our panels were FINALLY installed. 3 months later. They initially scheduled our install for Sept 6, my husband and I rearranged our work schedules and personal appointments to accommodate the Sept 6th install appt. They were scheduled to arrive between 8am and 10am. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!!! No call, no text no nothing! I called the company 5 separate times that same day to get an answer as to what happened. I received the same response from the rep every single time that they have no way to get in touch with the installers and they would send an urgent message for the installer to call me about the failed showing to appointment. We did not get any response from anyone until the next day (Saturday) and so again I had to rearrange my work schedule so they can come out the following Monday 9/9. So, they came out that Monday and it got installed. I was then told at that time that the next and final step would be for the company to reach out to schedule the final inspection and then the solar would be turned on. Okay, no problem right? WRONG AGAIN! It is now 9/28 and I have yet to get a call, email, anything about the final inspection. Over a week ago my husband called them to find out what the status is, was again told they would have someone get back to him. Again, no follow up by the company. I called them myself on Friday 9/27 and told them this is ridiculous and how can a company run a business like this when this is how they treat their brand new customers. So again, I got told them same thing. Someone will get back to you. WTF....to date 9/28 still no follow up by them.

I WILL CALL THEM AGAIN ON MONDAY AND TELL THEM TO COME GET THEIR PANELS OFF OF MY ROOF AND THEY JUST LOST A CUSTOMER.

How am I supposed to feel confident with giving this company my business when this is how it has been handled. What if I have issues with the panels moving forward, am I going to get the same type of service.

They are not interested in helping with information on what is better to use such as a battery backup system or generator because they didn't install system. All I wanted was some information they did not want to help definitely don't recommend them

We decided not to go through with solar negotiators (SN) as we did not agree with an agency they contract with (HDM). All I can say to help a family who is considering solar with SN is to read your contract very carefully. If it sounds too good to be true, it just might be.
