What a nightmare. I had a sales person come out to measure, give estimate. She missed multiple areas so they had to come back. I was canceled on multiple times with no notice, the crew did not show multiple times, the sprayers missed an entire section in the master (found this out when the other guy came to measure again because apparently the sales people do not know how to measure or can determine if the job can actually be done), and the areas that were missed were included in the original quote. I was overcharged because almost half of the master was not completed and the foam guys never told me; I only found out when they sent the other foam guy who is in charge of all the other guys. My entire dining room and right side of the house was never sprayed even though it was in the original quote. I did receive a call from the ""manager"" who said she would call back in a week, never heard from her again. I would not recommend this company. The job started in November and was not completed until the end of March!!

No service requested. No business requests at all. However they do call you even if you are on the National DNC listsn and have never requested to be contacted.

Really great service. I sat back and let them do all the work. I'm blown away at how comfortable they made me feel. The app to track it is very accurate. Incredible service.

This company will be totally attentive until you sign the contract.We purchased solar panels from Solar Bear and I was guaranteed I would generate enough power that I would only pay the customer service fee from Duke Energy. Over a year later I still pay more, and Solar Bear said they did not figure their calculations correctly and therefore I didn't get enough panels. I was supposed to hear from the owner and our sales representative to address our problem...no response - overall their customer service is atrocious. After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau I finally received a reply, saying the representative did not see the trees in our backyard. Didn't see a yard FULL of trees? Their response to this mistake is cutting my trees down. Worst customer service ever!

Had the system for 3 years. Inverter blew after 1 year and again now. Been down 90 days. They lie to your face poor customer service. 40 k for what? Crap. Bought a solar syster in 2005 and in 16 years no problem, just with this one from Solar Bear. Go else where, I just saved you pain.

They are great until they get paid , then they don't finish the job. My permit was approved over a month ago and they still have not submitted packet to the utility. They lied to the bbb about submission and a permit delays. They literally said county needed somthing else done when I got the final passed inspection day of. Stay away is my advice.

I had Solar Bear install new panels in two houses about three years ago. One set for myself and one for my in-laws. Since installation, it has been a growing regret. The biggest issue is the quality and reliability of their equipment (mostly the converter). In both houses, at least twice a year, the system goes down. As a result, it takes at least two weeks to get anyone out here to repair them, then to do the whole electric bill reimbursement from the weeks of being down, which is not even a guarantee as Solar Bear has been stingy even with this. This is a yearly routine, 2-3 times a year. I may have paid more into my electricity before the panels, but had a lot more reliability and consistency from the electric company. I have been noticing that the majority of these reviews in multiple sites are from recent installations which are less likely to have issues. Wait a couple of months and then the issues begin. I support green energy, but the solar industry needs more consistent equipment and an infrastructure that can reliably maintain existing installations.

Solar panels working great what I thought was automatic from Duke to give solar credit and they had me on fixed billing. Thank you owner who advised me on what's was going on. With that he said if I had not fixed billing my bill would be around 12 a month. Great keep you informed n the status. Owner took steps to ensure me that it's me and Duke not him.

Thanks to carrlina at the solar bear office my system us finally up and running and I couldn't be more happier. Carrlina is awesome she us very nice to deal with. Thank you solar bear.

I have been mislead, flat out lied to. I took off work 5 days. This company told me they only needed two days to put my roof on. Which I have this in text messages between myself and Aaron(salesman) I have a very small house. It has been 5 days + They are still not finished. They promised me the dumpster would be removed by Friday. My neighbor let me use his side yard so they could have access to my backyard because I have animals. He is in jeopardy of getting a fine because he has a RV that he was told not to park in the driveway. He usually parks it on the side between our houses. Now he's probably going to get a fine because they have left for the weekend and left everything in the way. I have called four phone numbers and no one is offered to call me. Aaron has mislead me in so many other issues. Thank goodness I do keep text messages with him, I will be seeking legal council.
