These guys are the pros! I called several roofers for a quote on a new roof for my home and got a wide range of pricing, most of which were higher. My dad happened to need a new roof and ended up going with a roofer that was a bit cheaper than the quote Carlos provided. That old saying, 'you get what you pay for' was never more accurate.

Dad's roof literally took nearly a month to do, and there were only 2 guys working on the days they worked. The permit process was a pain in the ass too for the old man.

Carlos sent an army of 8 guys to work on my 1800 sqft home plus detached garage. 1 day for tear down, 1 day for city inspection and material delivery, and 1 day for installation. That's it. 3 days yo! No joke.

Considering all the debris tearing off a roof leaves, these guys left after each day with not a single shingle or nail on the ground.

I rarely post reviews but my experience with Carlos and SoCal Roofing Solutions was exceptional. My parents decided to hire someone with very little experience for this project. This person didn't have a license so that was a red flag to begin with. I wasn't consulted as a resource and my parents hired this man to repair our roof. These people did not know what they were doing, they were asking us to rent tools, they purchased unusable cheap material that isn't certified for use in California, and they left a mess. I realized that we were entering a money pit alongside a roof that was not going to be done properly. I finally decided that I no longer wanted these people to continue working on our roof so I got rid of them and gave Carlos a call. I explained the situation to Carlos and frantically asked if he could give me an estimate to finish what these people started. He came over the next day to inspect our roof and he did a good job of explaining to my dad and I the poor work the previous people were doing. I asked him if there was anyway he could salvage the materials we had already purchased to help keep costs down but the damage had already been done. Carlos was extremely transparent and professional. He gave me an honest opinion and quote. I not once felt pressured by him nor felt like I had to give my business to him. His good communication skills and professionalism were the reason we went with him. In the end Carlos and his team managed to get the job done in a timely manner!

My advice to anyone reading this is to not cut corners in hopes of paying the lowest amount for the job. If you're struggling financially you can always finance it. Don't let the cost of something deter you from getting it done right. Your roof isn't something you should jeopardize. I highly recommend SoCal Roofing Solutions to everyone.

It was a great experience. Communication was great. Carlos was almost always available, and the few times he was not, he always called back within a reasonable time to answer questions I left on voicemail. When you take in account the reasonable and fair pricing, the customer service, the clarity and transparency of expectations for both of us, the amazing work, and the clean professional work ethics, no one can touch them. It was a pleasure, and we are recommending them to anyone who asks about the roof.

Note: going with the lighter colors and the vents they put in now keeps the home cooler by about 10 degrees. We use the Air Conditioner a lot less now. As far as the Vents, while the grid is small enough to keep birds and little animals at bay, in Whittier we have termites that fly through the area from time to time. They did such a good job at installing them, that it made it easy to staple in window screen below them (in the attic) to help keep termites out.

Carlos and the Socal Roofing Solutions team did a stellar job of replacing our heavily aged roof (likely original roofing from 1970s). Got an extremely reasonable quote, went through all the details with Carlos and within a week, the roof was completed. With Southern California, rain is always a potential issue and we definitely had a leak somewhere in our original roofing. It's rained a few times since and we've had zero issues with our new roof. We love it.
