And the light shone! I want to give a huge shoutout for the remarkable work Jeff Snook and his team performed, installing my 8'x8' new Velux skylight in my Streng Home today! He and his team performed heavy-duty feats to not only get the 300 lb. + new skylight onto the roof, but also to get the old one down and disassembled to haul away. Jeff and his team worked efficiently, carefully, prepped for cleanliness, saw to every tiny detail of cleanup. I was so impressed with the completed work, that I would highly recommend Jeff for skylight replacements for Streng Homes and other home improvement projects dealing with bringing light into your home....Thank you Jeff and team for the beautiful installation, attention to detail and the awesome cleanup job! You are the best!!!

You literally cannot find someone less professional than Jeff at Snook Skylights. While Jeff was prompt in coming over to provide a quote (same-day, in fact), he basically refused me as a customer AFTER already agreeing to do the work and supposedly clearing the schedule to accommodate us. Not even 15 mins after getting off the phone with him where he said he'd be ready to come by in 2 days' time after confirming, he emails me suggesting to find someone else to work with as he's too busy. Had he been so busy, he should have not agreed to perform the services or come by to provide a quote in the first place. A sincere waste of my time as I could have been shopping around this entire time. Someone else posted a comment about this guy being an arrogant jerk... he's not lying!

We had two Velux skylights installed by Jeff which literarily transformed our dark loft area into a very bright, sun filled room. He is very knowledgeable on all roof work, skylights and solar tube wells and took his time to explain what would work well. I highly recommend his company for any type of roof related work!

Jeff is super talented, easy to work with, knowledgeable, and takes a lot of pride in his work. He did an amazing job installing a VELUX skylight with a blind in my home. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and outstanding results.

**LATE POST** - Due to the current pandemic, I kept putting off my review; therefore, here it is: December 12, 2019, I hired Jeff to replace two of my existing old plastic skylights in our kitchen and guest bathroom, with two brand new glass skylights - made by VELUX and MADE IN THE USA! Both were installed perfectly and professionally! Installation took only about 3 hours. They're both solar-powered and can be controlled, via WiFi on my smartphone, and, with the wireless remote, which comes with each skylight. They also automatically close, via sensors on each unit, whenever it rains. When it does rain, the glass is much quieter than our old plastic skylights. The screens easily come off/on for easy cleaning. We love our new skylights and the great job Jeff and his assistant have done! Jeff is actively-licensed by the state CSLB and I highly recommend him, if you need new skylights installed.

Had a hard time finding someone to work on our metal roof and so glad we found Jeff. We bought our home in June and it was dark like a cave..... We had Jeff and Michael install a new skylight in our bedroom, a sun tunnel in the hall, and replaced two older skylights in the family room. WOW what a difference! I keep thinking I left the hall light on. They were super clean, professional, and did an excellent job! If we need/want more skylights we will definitely be calling them back!

Wanted to write a review to Jeff Snooks and team at Snooks Roofing and Skylights for the great job they did on our recent skylight installation.

Jeff went the extra mile as did his co-worker. They had a few challenges with the skylight install in our master bedroom closet as it was a long chute and only about 20""x 20"" so it was snug inside the chute for sure.

He did a great job with the install and was very accommodating when we asked for a few extra things here and there. We had originally bought a manual skylight and he recommended the solar skylight. He is a Velux guy and that is what we went with before we met him so that worked out well. He knows what he is talking about. The solar was the way to go as it opens and closes when it rains and right after our install we had those spring showers. Right on cue the skylight closed as it should have.

Jeff is neat and clean. His wife Karen handled the money and the scheduling. She was helpful and pleasant and very accommodating with our schedule.

Snooks Roofing and Skylights is a recommended installer for Velux and is displayed on the Velux site. We would recommend him as well and are looking forward to working with him again. We would highly recommend him.

I was very impressed because he was very honest and told me in the 30 years that he has been installing and/or servicing skylights he'd never seen my problem before.
