Nate Smith, of Smith and Bernal Roofing, was referred to us by a contractor doing repair work on our home. Our contractor determined the leak in our house was due to our roof and referred us to this company. Nate Smith came out and inspected the leak damage from the inside and thought it was most likely a roof issue. He did not check the roof because it was moist due to recent rain. He said he'd come back later but did not. I called him again a few days later and he said he was on vacation and to check in after the holidays. I called in early January and he said he didn't have his appointment calendar and for us to call back the following Tuesday. This rating is only for the lack of customer service. He had our contact information and I would think that he would have had the courtesy to call us back to let us know if he was going to do the repair work or not.

Called Smith and Bernal Roofing due to a leak in our roof. One person came out a and took a look at the leak inside the house to get an idea where the leak was. I was told he would be back within a day or two to inspect the roof. We have not heard a word ever since. I even called them a week later and still nothing. We have absolutely no problem with them not wanting to take the job, they should just have said so.

Dennis is a pleasure to work with. He knows roofs and proper building code. He's been in this business for 30 years. Dennis saw things on our roof that even our home inspector missed.

We just hired Dennis to fix some dry rot around our chimney that occurred due to wrongly installed shingles by the previous owner. Scheduling was a breeze and he showed up in time and kept his work area very clean. He communicated everything he did in an easy to understand manner.

Our job was small and Dennis was the only roofer in town that took it. Everyone else we called said the job was too small and not worth their time.

We plan to hire Dennis again to fix our roof line and get our roof ready for solar. We can not wait to work with him again.

Was referred to Smith and Bernal by a friend of mine after I was quoted by another company over $1300 to repair a leak and do some maintenance. Nathan came out to my house and went over my whole roof looking at what the other company had ""seen"" and looking to see if there was anything else wrong or that didn't actually need to be fixed. After looking at my roof I was told the cost would be over half of what the other roofer quoted me and also was getting more extensive maintenance done. He found a valley that needed to be cleaned out and had he not it would have caused another leak within a year.
