From start to finish Smart Roofing was the absolute best. I rarely give reviews; however, Smart Roofing deserves credit and a 5 start rating. I have been in property management over 35 years and have done more than one re-roof in my day. I obtained six different estimates from various roofing companies. While Smart Roofing was not the cheapest they were competitive and far from the most expensive and they offered me what the others did not. To begin the estimator, Evi, was very RESPECTFUL, knowledgeable and professional, showing me exactly what was going to be done (a complete tear off and installation); they pulled the required permit and took care of the two City inspections of the roof. Once the project began the men were prompt, professional and cleaned up daily before leaving. The office was also fantastic in working with me and my lender to obtain the Go Green loan I was applying for. Below were the initial deciding factors in choosing Smart Roofing:

1. Unlike the other roof bids obtained, the price Smart Roofing estimated WAS THE PRICE, no surprises, no sudden billing for additional wood, etc. The other estimators all left an unappreciated open window to be able jack up the quoted price - but not Smart Roofing - they were straight up honest with me and the price quoted was the price. They also honored their advertised coupon for a complete re-roof and took $1000 off the project estimate which was a welcomed pleasure and which made their price even more competitive.

2. Smart Roofing offered a 50 year/lifetime warranty on the energy saving ""Cool Roof"" they installed and informed me about a LADWP Rebate that I am entitled to as well - The other roofing companies only offered me a 10 year labor 30 year material warranty - I put a roof on 30 years ago and it flew by in a blink - so Smart Roofing's offer of a 50 year labor and lifetime on material stole the show and cinched the deal.

When it was complete Smart Roofing provided me with aerial photos of my roof and showed me all the new vents etc. that were installed (see photos) and they even took extra care to install protectors around the skylights to prevent future leakage. The new fascia work is exceptionally done around the property. Working with Smart Roofing was like a breath of fresh air - zero problems - it all ran smoothly - any minor concerns I had were immediately addressed and they left the property clean and looking good.
You Can't Go Wrong In Choosing Smart Roofing; You Can Only Go Right with this outstanding company. KUDOS, to Smart Roofing Company for all of their professionalism and for a job very well done. They get five stars and a perfect 10 from me. Any roof I need done in the future will go to Smart Roofing without a doubt.

The highly professional team at Smart Roofing did an amazing job replacing my tired old roof. Issac was thorough and transparent in walking me through the process of demolition, removal of old materials, inspections and installation. His team efficiently tackled the entire job in 3.5 days without any hiccups or delays with the inspections and permits. Shout out to Isaac and his team at Smart Roofing. First, the price is clear, competitive and everything is upfront (no surprises). Second, we had a freak rainstorm in the middle of our project. His team knew it was coming and was able to cover the exposed roof in time. Our project manager Isaac was also super responsive to all communication, including the chaos and stress that rain created. He checked in with us daily. We also got on the schedule super fast. We signed on a Thursday and his team was here by Tuesday! (It would have been Monday but it was a holiday and LA permit offices were not open.) His team is also super fast. Even with a rain delay, they were done in 3 days. Also, new roofs make a mess! And they came in and even got all the dust and debris out of the inside of the garage. There warranties are the best I found. And his office staff is even sending me paperwork to walk through the LA roof rebate process. I got 6 bids. Pick this company.

So happy I came across Smart Roofing. Our roof had a design flaw and every roofer had a different opinion. I must have gotten 20 quotes, it was completely overwhelming, but the moment I started talking to Isaac, I knew I found the right team. Clever approach, great pricing and beautiful quick work! Long overdue review! Jesse and team did a stellar job. Removed decades of old layers from our roof, while adding so much more value to our home! Quote was competitive too. I was really happy about the honesty and no frills approach during our initial meeting. Jesse was always super responsive if I had any questions throughout the process. Workers kept their spaces clean and tidy before leaving. Our neighbors who are perched above us instantly complimented the quality of the work since they've got such a good view of it, and even asked me for a referral after the job was done. So we had a leak thought we could just repair it but no we needed a new roof. So I started getting estimates. What a shock at the prices. It took a long time to find someone I trusted and felt good about. It was Smart Roofing. Jesse the project manager was great he was my 11 estimate I was so done with this. He was a breath of fresh air. I felt he was honest and fair with his product and pricing. But I had such bad experiences with other estimates and company's they would lie use bad products had horrible reviews and very expensive. I needed to check him out further. I was pleasantly surprised, everything he told me apparently was true. Good reviews, license was good I couldn't find anything bad. I felt even better about Jesse now so I hired him. Everything went great he stayed in contact with me every step of the way. If I texted him he replied. He would call if he need to talk. He told me 4 days and did as promised . Almost forgot there was no extra fee for bad wood if there was any and if any problems come up they would take care of it. The roof look great. I am so happy there are still honest people out there they are just very hard to find. I am glad I found Smart Roofing and Jesse. I will tell my friends about him if they need a roof. I thought getting a brand new roof was going to be an ordeal but Levi made sure it was a breeze. I think the whole job took like 4 days. It's so beautiful and Levi was so patient with me explaining all the materials and entire process and was always available to talk (which is a huge deal when you're dropping the sort of money you drop on a new roof). I got quotes from 5 roofers and wound up choosing Smart Roofing based on Levi, the price, quality, and trust I had in his company. He never pressured me and was very straightforward about the price (which was all-inclusive so there's no surprises). Looked up his business license and verified everything myself. Reliability, communication, credentials, everything top tier. An absolute pleasure.
