Worst experience of my life. I am so exhausted and furious with this crap company that I had decided not to write a review because I'm trying to move on, but then I thought if my review saves even one person from going through what Skymark has put me through, it will be worth it.

Skymark NEVER ONCE SHOWED UP when they scheduled with me. It started when the solar people were supposed to arrive to remove the existing solar. They never showed up, no call or text before or after their scheduled arrival time. I finally called and got serious run-around from both my useless rep and the office. Basically came down to ""oh they were running behind on another job and we don't know why you weren't called"". They rescheduled.

Skymark contacted me with an installation date (Monday June 3rd) for my re-roof. Shingles arrived the week before and I was told to expect the dumpster delivery so I started parking at the curb instead of in my garage. I arranged to have days off work and also arranged to take my dogs to day care (non-refundable). I called the Friday before my installation date because the dumpster hadn't been delivered and my rep told me the crew would bring it with them Monday morning.

Monday morning arrives, no crew. I call my rep and am told that the crew was running behind on another job and would not be able to come until Wednesday. Not one person from Skymark called or texted me about the change even though I found out they had known since the Thursday before that they weren't going to make the date they set.

I refuse to accept their new installation date because I would have to miss more work. My rep tried to bully me into it by saying that keeping the shingles on my existing roof for any longer was a dangerous idea.

I found one honest person at Skymark (Emily Noto, she's awesome, but is of course no longer with Skymark) who went to bat for me, getting the installation to begin Tuesday morning so I only had to take one additional day off work.

Solar installation was scheduled two weeks later. Of course they did not show up on the day they had scheduled, but they were only one day late, which is great for Skymark. They installed the solar and I received an immediate text from my rep saying payment was due in full. I asked to wait until the permit officer signed off on all paperwork.

Permit officer signed off on roofing paperwork but it turns out Skymark hadn't bothered to pull a permit for the solar. My rep told me a permit wasn't required for solar. I called the Lake County Permit Office and was told that absolutely a permit was required. My Skymark rep said the Permit Office was wrong and my payment was due. I had to file a complaint through the Permit Office at which point Skymark pulled a permit and dropped it off for me to go find a notary and sign it. All permits were finally signed off on and I paid Skymark in full.

A few days before Milton I went out to take photos of my roof and discovered a large section that was literally caving in. A new rep came out and said that the installers had shingled over rotten decking instead of replacing it. He confirmed several times that it was their mistake and they would come rip up the shingles and decking and replace it at no charge.

Skymark set a date of Novemer 16th to do the work. No one showed up. No one called or texted. I called Skymark Monday morning and the young lady in the office who answered said she would ""look into it"" and someone would call me that afternoon or the next day. I'm still waiting.

This experience with Skymark has been the WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE of my life. Please take my advice and do not hire these people.

I must say that they are doing a great job. The lead project manager was always keeping me informed of every step. That made me more comfortable in making the right decision on having them do my roof.
I would recommend them to my family and friends.

We suffered damage as most of Bay County did during Hurricane Michael. Rick showed up at our door and was the most pleasant non pushy salesman EVER. We immediately liked him and the company. Ron and his crew showed up, earlier than expected and finished our new Blue roof in 3 days. We had the inspector come from Bay County and said these guys did a kick-arse job and the roof was one of the best he has seen. He told us he inspects over 150 new roofs a week..
