Maxim Kunchevski was very knowledgeable and professional in the recent installation of 2 new skylights to replace our damaged and leaking original skylights . He responded quickly to my request for a proposal, ordered the Velux skylights immediately, and installed them in little more than 1 week from the proposal. We appreciated his advice and workmanship so much that we are considering adding a new Sun Tunnel Skylight in one of our bathrooms.

Max and his team did an outstanding job for us. We had a cracked skylight in our family room. Max called us back very quickly and we scheduled an appointment for him to assess the issue. He explained a few options and estimates. We went with a Velux No Leak option. Max was back with our new skylight in about a week! He and his team installed it, hauled off the old one and even swept the floor afterwards. The skylight is beautiful and they did a great job. His pricing was also very competitive. Max and his team did an amazing job replacing our two 30+ year old skylights in our bedroom and bathroom. These had been slowing leaking for years and I had put it off for fear of the hassle, but Max made the process very easy and did quality work. There was no change to the original estimate even though accessing our old skylights to remove took extra time due to the previous reroofing which covered the brackets and were hidden. The new skylights look amazing and make such an incredible difference in the lighting and feel of our rooms. I will be reaching out again soon for some sun tunnel work!

I reached out to the owner, Maxim Kunchevski, about replacing the curb-mounted skylight on the roof of our condominium building. He replied promptly and came out for a site visit. Our previous skylight had been broken during a fumigation of the building. Max took precise measurements of the opening and gave us an estimate for a dual-layered acrylic domed skylight to be custom-made by Velux, a top manufacturer. When he received the skylight, he called me to set up a time for the installation. He and a helper arrived at our building at the agreed time. Getting the old skylight down and the new skylight up was a bit of a challenge. Our building has four floors. It also has an elevator, but the skylight is large, about 5' x 8' approximately, and could not fit into the elevator. So they needed to use a rope to lower and raise the skylights from the 2nd level deck to the top floor and vice versa, and the stairwell the rest of the way. The skylight fit over the opening perfectly, but the installation took a little longer than Max expected. Our building was constructed in 1967 and was last re-roofed in the mid-1990s. Max said that the roofing material around the opening had deteriorated in places. So they used black metal flashing and silicone to seal between the aluminum frame and the curbed opening. This will help prevent leaks from rain water. He also pointed out that the new skylight also includes a gasket on the underside of the frame which will provide further insulation. My fellow HOA board members and I are very pleased with the result (picture attached). Skylight Construction did great work at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!

Max was the most responsive out of the four quotes I got, and gave me many options and different pricing for different skylights. We had an old very large opening and considered doing multiple skylight but ended up with a custom one. Very competitive pricing too. Thanks Max

One of old skylights cracked so I deice to have both skylights replaced. I called a few places. Max was the most responsive and was the first to arrive and give a quote. The other companies were higher, one company was double the price! Max had the skylights ordered and installed within a week. The skylight is a name brand make. It install went smoothly and tool less then an hour. My living room is much brighter now. He was very professional and friendly.

I will be reroofing my house this summer and plan on having another skylight install in my garage. Max will get my business for that project for sure.

Had a great experience with install but poor rude customer service.
Doing a bathroom remodel a roof vent was half covered. Asked Max to stop by and remove a small pc of framing. Two simple cuts with a recripcating saw. Wanted $250.00!!!
Had piece removed in less than 10 minutes!! Guess satisfied customers are not worth 10 minutes.
Too bad as install was good.

installed 2 skylights in about an hour!!!! I would have spent all weekend up there, and had no warranty to go with it. max is extremely professional and did a great job.

This company provide repairs and installations. We hired Max to replace our skylights with three Velux solar powered skylights that open and close and have built in shades. We interviewed three companies and Max had a good price, listened to us and gave us options we liked. His bid was very detailed and gave us confidence. Work was beyond our expectations and completed in one day. He is a licensed contractor, and certified by Velux and gives you his own 5 yr warranty for his install on top of the manufacturer warranty. He sells and installs other brands as well. We highly recommend this installer.
