What a mistake to hired this company. They have not idea about customer service and quality of work

During Hurricane Ian, we lost one shingle. A cap at the very end of one portion of a gable. It took repeated calls but finally, a response. An individual came out and inspected the roof and stated that the roof is in ""great shape"" with the exception of one missing shingle. The individual stated he would get a quote for the repair. A week later I had to text and remind the individual and a call from the office was answered. The quote was 950.00 to repair one shingle. I was shocked. I used Sky Light after Irma and had some missing shingles and a few caps missing from what I was told. They charged me 750.00 at the time. Now it's 950.00 for one shingle? Needless to say that I dropped them and will not do business with them in the future. BTW, I was told that that quote came from the owner. Shout out to Peet Roofing for taking care of it and saving me 950.00 in the process. My business now goes to Peet Roofing! #Pricegouging

We hired Skylight Roofing in November 2021 to replace our Roof. Their Rep came out to our house and we explained and showed him that we had a major leak in our Dining Room and this was the reason we were going to spend 14,000.00 on a new roof. The Rep assured us that the new roof would take care of this problem.

In January of 2022, we had a heavy rain and the water came through our Dining room once again. We called SkyLight and asked them to come out and address this issue. They sent someone out to access the damage and they would get back to us. A few days later, we received a call telling us that this was not their problem to fix and that there was a possibility that the water was coming in from our Fireplace Chimney and if we wanted them to fix it, there would be a $4,300 charge.

We had many Roofing companies give us estimates but we had the trust and confidence in SkyLight that they would do a good job in replacing our roof.

If they were as thorough and knowledgeable as they claimed to be, then when they came out to give us our estimate, then it would and should have been their responsibiity to inform us there were other issues that could be causing the leak in the Dining Room and we would have been given the opportunity to decide whether we should go ahead and spend $14,000.00 on a new roof at this time.

Our Rep was clearly only interested in us signing on the dotted line to finalize the new roof.

We definitely would not recommend Skylight Roofing to fix anyone's roof.

I was referred to Skylight roofing by another real estate brokerage. We needed to get a quote for replacing a few damaged roof tiles prior to closing. I called Skylight on Monday 1/11/21. They were very nice and scheduled an inspection for Tuesday 1/12/21 between 9-10am. I was advised that it would be 24-48 hours after the inspection for the quote. Great no problem. I called 24 hours later and was told it would only be after 48 hours. Okay great. I called back after 48 hours and was told sorry we still don't have it. She spoke with the estimator and he was working on the estimate at 10:00 am on Friday 1/15/21 and would have it to me in an hour. I finally called Friday 1/15/21 at 3:00 pm in last resort to get this estimate and was told again by the receptionist that there is nothing she can do. She contact the owner and he was not available.
This company sent out an employee to my property and did a complete inspection. Then they dropped the ball with sending out an email estimate costing them the job and ruining their reputation with our company as well as the broker who referred them. What a shame. I will never use this company again or refer them to anyone.

This is the most unprofessional company. The Owner, Juan, will never return calls because he know his company screwed up my roof. He tried to blame a new leak on stucco cracks. After visits from a Mason, Master Craftsman and another roofer who all blame it on the crappy roofing job done by Sky Lite Roofing! If I could save anybody the hassle I had with this company....I suggest calling another company!

Good job on the roof. Horrible job re installing the gutters! Now I have to hire someone to try to straighten them up so that they are level or horizontal with the ground. They dip forward so you can see into the gutters which is incorrect. Either that or have them totally redone.

Skylight Roofing replaced my foot last week and did an awesome job. They had to repair quite a bit of wood etc. This is the 3rd roof we have had to replace over the years and they have done the best job by far!
Highly recommend this company.

Had a leak over my front door and these guys came right out and gave me a quote for about half of what another roofer quoted me. Got them under contract and the job was done in no time. Had some question for them a couple months later and they were quick to respond and help me out free of charge.

We had our roof replaced June 2018 and everything went smooth. It took them a few weeks to get to our roof because it was raining nonstop literally everyday but you can't control the weather, so that's understandable. Good communication, roof done quickly and well done (they even took pictures of everything that was done and emailed it to me), and cleaned up well after the job. Would definitely recommend them!

I contacted Sky Light Roofing when I needed a couple areas of my roof fixed, and I would honestly never recommend them after the experience I had.
They were quick to schedule someone to come out to view the damage, however, the person they sent out didn't speak a word of English, so the guy had to call someone who spoke English because he couldn't communicate with my husband. Also, he showed up to VIEW ROOF DAMAGE with NO LADDER! Seriously?! No ladder?!
About a week later, we still hadn't received the estimate so I contacted the owner and he said he would get with the office and have it emailed over to me--never received an email or another phone call from them.
A couple weeks later, my husband reached out to them, to which they couldn't even locate an estimate for our address and promised they would look into it and call us back--no word from them again.
Two more phone calls later, both times, they said they would email the estimate and we never received it. This was over 2 months ago now and we still haven't received anything from this company.
I don't care how good of a job they might do on a roof repair, the lack of communication is terrible and would never use or recommend them based on that.
