Established for over 25 years, SJ Company is committed to excellence. Founded by my grandfather, Carl Leslie, he remained active in the business until his passing in 2005. As a high school student, I, Justin Spence, started working with my grandfather, building my skills from the foundation. In 1990, our family welcomed Buddy Rhodes into the company. We may be a small family operation, but we are proud of our returning clients, some of whom we initially met with a handshake. We serve a diverse range of clients, including shopping centers, school districts, real estate managers, Stanislaus County, hospitals, and individual homeowners. Numerous repeat clients are nearing their third roofing warranty. We are one of the select roofing contractors in the Central Valley that offers cold process roofing and metal roof sealing. Our team exclusively uses the Western Colloid roofing system. SJ Company guarantees a ten-year warranty on all labor and materials. After the ten-year warranty period, we will come back to provide a renewal option for an additional ten years at a lower cost. The renewal process includes cleaning, patching as needed, applying 5 gallons of Western Colloid emulsion per square, and spraying 2 gallons of silver white per square. The renewal is priced at roughly one-third of the original cost. This provides substantial savings for our clients.
