For more than 25 years, SJ Company has been dedicated to quality service. The company was founded by my grandfather, Carl Leslie, who contributed until his death in 2005. As a high school student, I, Justin Spence, started working with my grandfather, building my skills from the foundation. In 1990, Buddy Rhodes became part of our family and the company. As a small family business, we cherish our repeat clients, many of whom we first connected with through a handshake. Our clientele includes local shopping centers, school districts, real estate managers, Stanislaus County, hospitals, and private homeowners. Numerous repeat clients are nearing their third roofing warranty. We are among the few roofing contractors in the Central Valley that utilize a cold process for roofing and seal metal roofs. Our team exclusively uses the Western Colloid roofing system. Our company offers a ten-year warranty covering all labor and materials. After the ten-year warranty period, we will come back to provide a renewal option for an additional ten years at a lower cost. The renewal process includes cleaning, patching as needed, applying 5 gallons of Western Colloid emulsion per square, and spraying 2 gallons of silver white per square. The renewal is priced at roughly one-third of the original cost. This provides substantial savings for our clients.
