Six Star Roofing was an exceptional company to work with. We had a roof repair job that needed attention, and Six Star was responsive, and so pleasant to deal with. They came out and quickly diagnosed the problem, offered suggestions about adding some attic venting, and then provided a quote that was quite reasonably priced. We signed the contract, expected to start in 2 weeks, and they were able to squeeze us in within one. The repair and installation was quick and efficient, and they did a quality job. Completely cleared up the site, and they really do deserve 6 of 5 Stars!

Would give more than 5 stars if I could!
We had to have a roof inspection, and thought that our roof might need to be replaced, as we weren't sure how old half of it was. We didn't have a leak. Jonathon returned my call within a day or so, and was able to come out the same week to inspect the roof. He informed us that the roof was in good shape, didn't need to be replaced and specified a few items that could be repaired if we wanted. Even specified which ones he would recommend doing soon and which were optional. Very honest. We decided to have everything repaired that he recommended. The work by his crew was excellent, the communication with Jonathon great...had to schedule around some rainy days. The whole experience was seamless, and he wrote a letter we could give our insurance company that clearly stated the roof was in excellent condition and that repairs he recommended were done. I can't recommend this company highly enough. When we do need a roof replacement, this is company we will use and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Jonathon!

Jonathon and team responded promptly and resolved our roof leak issue above and beyond our expectations. Our roof was redone in 2017 and so still under warranty, only the roofing company that performed the work is no longer in business. The Six Star team quickly identified the leak issue and made the necessary repairs. The above and beyond part of the story is that Jonathon honored the defunct companies warranty and my bill for the repairs was zero. If you're looking for a reputable stand up roofing service, look no further!

My roof was leaking and it was during the first rains this year. I called every roofing contractor in Santa Cruz for help and the only one to call me back promptly was Jonathon from Six Star Roofing. I only needed a repair that would take me through a couple more winters and was not in a position to replace the whole roof. Jonathon was very professional and responsive. He walked my roof and took videos and shared them with me as to what needed to be done. He tarped the roof right way to prevent more damage and provided a reasonable quote for the repairs. I was very impressed with him and he did not try to oversell me on replacing my roof right away as did another roofer from San Jose. He completed the repairs in a very timely manner and cleaned up the mess outside and in and left the property as he found it. I used to work in the real estate business in SC County and never came across a roofer that was so honest, fairly priced, expedient and responsive. I appreciate the work Jonathon and his crew did on the repairs and highly recommend him and Six Star Roofing.

This review is long overdue. Just adding my wonderful 5-star (well, 6-star, ha!) experience to the pile here on Yelp.
We had a total of 3 re-roofs done on different properties by Six Star Roofing in the last couple years. Two were shingle roofs and one was metal. We also had all of our old gutters replaced.
Our experience with Six Star on each job was awesome.
Pricing was competitive, advice was honest, communication was clear and direct, and the team always showed up when they said they would. All 3 roofs turned out perfect; we've had no problems since the jobs were completed.
Jonathon was always extremely responsive, helpful, and just simply a nice guy. I can't say enough good things about this business. We have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. 1000% recommend!

Jonathan did a great job repairing my roof this year. He also took the time to check on a leak in my son's room and diagnose the issue. The job was not large and I appreciate that he fit me into his busy schedule. A follow up thank you note was sweet and appreciated! When I have a large project, I will think of Six Stars!
