I contacted Steve Simpson for an estimate for a new roof. He did the estimate and sent me the bid/estimate. I agreed with the estimate and requested to move forward with the job. I never heard back from him. I called and e-mailed with no response. Unprofessional. I can't imagine trusting this guy to for reliable work. I get it, if you get busy with other jobs, at least have the courtesy to respond and let your customers know.

Steven and his team were amazing. They replaced our roof for us and were very fast and thorough. They also were wonderful with my inquisitive kids and were very professional. Not only were their prices the best around, but they also had the shortest wait of all 5 companies we looked at. I'd hire them over and over again! We are in the process of selling our house so the roof was inspected a couple days later and they passed with flying colors. I could not be more happy with the work, professionalism, and service we got. Highly recommend!!!

Avoid him like the plague. No show, no call. Eventually showed up, did a crappy job, charged me more then DOUBLE the original quote, then claimed the original quote was just materials. Bought lighters, post hole digger etc. on my dime and then kept the tools he bought with my money. He later claimed that was an accident. When I asked for a total breakdown of the charges I found a $700 discrepancy that he has yet to repay or work off as promised. After calling and begging for months I left a stern message to which I just received a text telling me to F off! Steve Simpson is a thief.

We had Stephen Simpson Construction reside a rental property we own in Southern Humboldt. We don't live nearby and we weren't on site to supervise so we really had to place a lot of trust in our contractor. Fortunately Stephen Simpson construction really delivered. They did great quality work at a good price and made good decisions on the spot.

Their scheduling and communication was average. They estimated the work would take ten days and it took three weeks. And while they responded by phone or email within 24 hours, there were times we weren't sure what was going on. To me, that is par for the course when you hire a man of action.

In the important measures quality, price and trustworthiness, Stephen Simpson construction worked independently to deliver a great job and we recommend them highly.
