We had a monsterously huge fireplace in the middle of our house, and decided to demolish it, which of course left nice big holes in the roof and ceiling. I contacted Silicon Valley Roof Repairs, and Jimmy came out the next day to give us an estimate, which was very reasonable. He and his crew started work that same afternoon, and did a great job. They repaired our almost-flat tar & gravel roof, repaired our ceiling, and extended an interior wall where the fireplace had been. Communication was great, work was done well, and they cleaned up each afternoon at quitting time. Thanks, Jimmy & Jimmy!

Update a few days later:
Now that we've painted the repaired repaired areas - both the ceiling and the extended wall, we can see how poorly the old and new were joined. The taping/mudding/texturing of the repairs was done VERY poorly. From 15 feet away, you can see the obvious lines where new & old join.
It makes me wonder how well the roof repair will hold up.

My wife called Jimmy to inspect our roof. Since we have a foam roof, there were not many folks we could find that could help us. We were lucky to find Jimmy, he inspected the roof and found missing pest control net and patches that needed attention. Jimmy was super efficient and very reasonable prices. Very clean and neat work. He fixed all the cladding and made sure the roof was protected for years to come. He is extremely handy and was able to help me with other small fixes and was very reasonable with the price. He has an eye for spotting problems and fixing them very well. For e.g. He noticed the patio was unscrewed at many places and fixed it quickly for us. I would highly recommend Jimmy. He is perfect for all roof and handyman services.

Update. As a business owner I really don't like doing this, but I feel betrayed by this guy and his company. I had a serious leak in my roof, and jimmy came out and put tarps up to try to stop the flow. He did come out twice which I did appreciate, but he was supposed to follow up with quotes for short term and long term repair. When I spoke to him last he promised to ""talk to his guys"" and get back to me with quotes and a day when they would come and fix it. I texted him the next day after the tarps did nothing to stop the water and no action. We chatted on the phone and all I heard was, "" we are busy and I'll get back to you"". In the mean time out hallway and walls are being damaged by water. I waited as long as I could, then called someone else. They came out, assessed the problem and fixed it a few days later. To say I'm angry and disappointed is an understatement. Jimmy is a nice guy but is clearly over his head. Sorry but can't recommend. Empty promises.

My roof had a leak. After reading reviews, I planned to call 3 companies. The time was Friday afternoon after 5pm. When I called Silicon Valley Roof Repairs, Jimmy the owner picked up the call right away and we ended up meeting on the coming Sunday at 10am. The other two companies I had to leave voicemails.
Jimmy and his crew showed up ahead of schedule. They went up the roof and found the problem quickly. They went into the house to check to confirm the spot. They not only repaired the trouble area, but also ""touched up"" a few other spots and cleared that portion of the gutter, all done in about an hour.
I found Jimmy and his crew knowledgeable, paying attention to details, and doing the work thoroughly. It hasn't been raining since the repair, so I don't know whether the repair really works. But given Jimmy's attitude and his willingness to offer warranty, I am confident that I have found the right person and company.

Awesome experience. Called Jimmy one morning, let him know about the leaks in my tar & gravel roof, and he and the team were out at my house later that afternoon! Some roofing companies really do not like working with tar & gravel roofs, or don't have the materials to do so, but Silicon Valley Roof Repairs were able to handle business and take care of the leaks in one afternoon. They pulled up some of the layers and showed me how the section of the roof wasn't even done properly when it was built, with a whole missing layer. They did a great job and took care of all the issues in just a couple hours. It was right on time, since it started raining again the next day. I highly recommend this company! I'll be using them for any future roof issues that come up

I called them this morning as a roof vent had come all the way off and was just sitting on the roof.
Jimmy was at the house fixed the issue and noticed some other issues which be also took care of.

With the heavy rains these past few days, roof started a slow leak. Jimmy answered his phone on a Sunday (much appreciated!) and an appointment was scheduled for the following day. Crew came out, took picture before and after, fixed leak promptly, and guarantee their labor work for one year (!). Jimmy's prompt responses to texts and followup via emails made communication very easy. Mom was impressed with Jimmy's thoughtfulness with shoe covers and politeness. Thank you (and crew) so much for being there to fix the roof, even when you were a little ""under the weather"".

I had a severe and large leak that was difficult to find. There was no visible cause for the leak. After I had a handyman make several attempts at patching the roof above the leak with the leading roof repair stuff, the roof continued to leak after each attempt's next rain. Enough was enough. I finally decided to call a roof repair contractor and ended up working with Jimmy. He came out and was confident he could solve the problem. He found 2 causes of the leak, and made the necessary repairs on the same day. Observing his process, I am confident he has solved the problem, but I will update this post after the next rain. . . 2 weeks later, and the repair has held up after a lot of rain!
