Joe Shulman did work on time and followed up with me to make sure we were happy with the work. His quote was half of what another wanted to charge us. No complaints about his service or work. Definitely will contact him again if we need any more repairs on our roof.

Had a roof leak 2 years ago....called Shulman Roofing...they were out the same day to cover the leak and prepare for a tear down and new roof....however due to the lame HOA in Mission Viejo, it took 3 weeks before I could get the green light to move forward with the project. The workers arrived on time, were efficient and solid with their cleanup. Fast forward to now....I recently sold my home and had a slipped tile. One phone call to the owner and within 4 hours a foremen was out to fix the tile. I would highly recommend this company. Definitely good people.

Buyer beware! Owner never called back or showed for appointment. Bad talked previous client that decided to wait to install new roof & it was a friend of mine. This company obviously has more work than they need. So glad went with another company for my new roof & they appreciated my business. I would not recommend this company for ANY work with this type iof service & professionalism.

I highly recommend Shulman roofing. Joe Shulman is professional and very knowledgeable. His company removed 2 layers of roofing from my home and put on a new asphalt composite roof. This included great ventilation for my large attic. Joe returned all of my phone calls quickly, patiently answered all of my questions and immediately took care of any concerns. The workmen were professional and friendly. They arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. The entire job was completed in 4 days. Joe's prices are reasonable. His company does great work. I would hire him again without hesitation.

Unless you're simply looking for the lowest, rock-bottom price, I recommend calling Shulman Roofing and not wasting your time with other companies. (His price is reasonable but not the lowest.) My experience with this company was extremely positive. Here are a few of the highlights:

1. After I left a message requesting an estimate, Joe Shulman called me back right away. He arrived on time the next day and gave me a written estimate, along with brochures for and samples of the various products they use.

2. He also gave me a list of 40 to 50 references. I called four of the people on the list and they all provided glowing reviews.

3. Our roof had a weird little ""dog leg"" in the front that had never really bothered me, but Joe suggested that we straighten it out at minimal expense. So we did, and I can't believe how much better it looks!

4. On the first day, the crew was scheduled to arrive between 7am and 8am. They arrived at 6:55am. (I'm obsessively punctual, so this made my day!)

5. Joe said the job would be done in two days, and it was.

6. I didn't have to call Joe very often, but when I did he always returned the calls within a few minutes.

I have dealt with dozens of contractors over the past few years, and Shulman Roofing was one of the very best and most reliable.

Shulman Roofing repaired half my roof in August (the old half that was leaking) but I wanted to wait until well into the ensuing rainy season before writing a review. The roof has been through several storms and is water tight. I couldn't be more satisfied with the work. He has a good crew that showed up on time and worked late through the course of a 4 day period. Each day, the crew worked hard and cleaned up. When the job was done, I had to call Joe after a few days to get him to send me the bill!

ya hey again im the guy that post a review a while back on my roofing guy. well the second roof he installed for me, this time on my garage is done . i have to say it was right on the money again. the color matches my house perfectly even thou the roofs are a couple years apart. the guys he sent were very professional and got the roof done in 2 days and on a couple of the hottest days of the year. not an easy job. cudos to them.i kept them fed with gatorade and i think they appericated that. anyway , i dont know what happened to my last posting about these guys but i would definetly recommend them to anybody who wants it done right and quickly.and offcourse at a fair price.

BEWARE! This guy is a FLAKE. He sent a worker out on a friday regarding a repair we had. The guy was on the roof for 1.5 hours ""prepping"" and then said he would need to come back on the following monday to finish and do the repair. After 10 calls in 6 days and 1 nasty email, he finally called and had a multitude of pathetic reasons why he would not move forward with the job. Totally unprofessional not to return a call saying he didnt feel comfortable doing the repair. Additionally, the leak was in our child's nursery and he had NO regard for that and the sense of urgency we were feeling as parents of a young child........Call someone else for roofing, this guy isn't worth the anguish......

Recently had our roof done by Shulman Roofing and couldn't be happier. A co-worker had referred us to Joe shullman after having her roof done by Shulman Roofing also. His price was very good and he did not require us to give a deposit or payment until our home refinance was completed. The roof being done was a condition of closing our refinance and Joe showed the ultimate patience and integrity!
