I wish I'd had the experience others have had with showtime. Cross Country was on my insurance company's preferred contractor list, and they sent out showtime exteriors, Michael Lawrence, sales rep/project manager came out. I had a list of questions because I'd been ripped off by contractors in the past. One question was, does showtime offer a warranty on both materials and workmanship? he said yes on both. I liked his other answers so signed up. That's when it went downhill. The roofer that came out had a sign on her truck ""C&H roofing, owner Carolina Garache"". When they removed the satellite dish and replaced it, it wasn't working. I let her know and she said ""call them"". So I called Dish and paid over 100. for them to re set the dish on the roof. Thermostat stopped working. Probably a wire loose from the banging, so had to call an electrician, more money. Part of the claim included wood replaced and painting, window glazing. They said they'd be out on a date it was below 40 degrees and sprinkling rain to paint (in March). I told her she needed to wait a day or two for the weather and she argued with me. Had to text Michael to get it sorted. I guess he played good cop bad cop because he had someone named Johnny call me back and try to coerce me into letting them paint when it was in the 30s (paint would bubble, peel down the road), and sprinkling rain. Sheesh. They finally agreed. Painting.. part of it was painting around a door frame and the guy sloshed paint on the carport floor and on the door, door hinges, etc. Looked like a child painted it. This was done their last day and they were rushing to leave. I mentioned it and she waved her hand at me, dismissively. She'd said at one point she was from Ecuador so maybe she didn't understand. Didn't look that way but I gave the benefit of the doubt.. had to text Michael again. Told him hubby was angry at the paint mess and he said they'd be out the next day to clean up. She did.. but griped the whole time, accused us of 'messing' with the door while the paint was wet. John wasn't home when it happened and I was just transitioning out of a wheelchair last month and couldn't have done it. Finally got that cleaned up and remove debris they'd left all over the yard. The glass guy came out to do the glazing, he was decent, angel's glass. good work. Work done, gave the check to Michael. The next day hubby asked me where the warranties were. Oops. I'd forgotten to get them before paying, but hey, Michael seemed nice so I'm sure there won't be a problem. Famous last words... So I texted Michael re them. He replied 'it's on the contract'. I replied.. you didn't get me a contract to sign. He said he'd get them to me. Nothing. Few days later I emailed. He said ""get it from cross country"". I called cross country, they transferred me to the operations mgr I'd spoken to initially who said I should have gotten it ""at the time services were rendered"". what??? I told him I simply forgot, and would like the warranties now for my file. He said ""shingle manufacturers don't just give a warranty"". Yes, they do. I said oh? The folder Michael gave me has printed on the back that they have great warranties. I simply want a copy. He said someone will get you something. Michael emailed to apologize for, direct quote from his email: ""I do apologize for the misinformation on my part to you."" You mean saying there is a warranty to get the job? Knowing you don't have one? I had to fight them every step of the way over every little detail. While all this was going on, right after they finished up, I had to go into the hospital again, ICU, on April 17th for a ""cardiac event"". Stress. May 14th I finally got an email from what looks like a secretary at the office saying my roof was warrantied until 2024. Not sure it's binding but I was done fighting with them.
I can't help but wonder how thorough people were who gave glowing reviews, or if their home value is much higher and so got better sub contractors put on their jobs. Dunno. I sure wish I'd had their experiences. My heart would have been happy to not be so stressed out!
Word to the wise, and I realize most folks may already know this: Get everything before paying. I also forgot to mention I had a hard time getting a receipt or invoice, had to keep emailing over that issue too. And, as my dad used to say, ""trust but verify"". I should have done a better job. Inside that folder was a sheet of paper showing they have zero complaints, etc with the Better Business Bureau. Not true. When I looked last night, to write a review there it showed a couple of complaints against showtime exteriors that they'd responded to, so they knew they existed.

Showtime Exteriors (Michael Lawrence) did a great job working with my insurance adjuster, assisting in the selection of roof material and color, and installing the new roof in a timely and professional manner. I would recommend Showtime and have done so without any reservation whatsoever!

Michael did a great job managing the entire claim process for me. Nothing more frustrating than being in a new home for 4 months and sustaining hail damage. The crew did a great job and the additional folks who repaired the windows and screens were very professional. I have lived in Collin county for 20 years and this is my 3rd roof replacement and by far the best experience.
Thanks again

If your home received Hail Damage, I recommend you contact Showtime Exteriors. Ask for Michael Lawrence. He's very through and explains the process in great detail. You can trust Michael Lawrence and the guys at Showtime Exteriors to do a great job. I highly recommend them!

After the big hailstorm of March 2016, they took care of us with the recommendation of our insurance company. Their estimate was very thorough - they found damage that I wouldn't have even thought to look for and made sure that EVERYTHING was repaired. An extra word of praise to their painters who did a fantastic job as well as being very pleasant to work with. I recently had some water damage to the inside of my home and will be using Showtime to make repairs - yes, they do interiors, too. So happy to have found an honest, competent contractor.

Was looking to repair a leaking valley when David Washington, owner of Showtime Exteriors, looked at my roof and pointed out hail damage that I had never observed. I turned in a claim and David personally handled the inspection with the insurance adjustor, negotiated the claim amount , and supervised the job. The tear-off and reroofing was accomplished in one day, and came in under budget. No more leak in the kitchen and a new roof in the bargain! Thanks, David.
